A welcoming, simple, and pleasant place. Very good food, unique dishes based on taragna polenta with a choice of cheeses, mushrooms, or eggs—truly superb! Hearty and tasty. Spectacular pork shank. Generous portions. Perhaps a few dishes were a little cold (the pizzoccheri, which are still delicious). Very friendly, fast, and attentive staff. Must try!

Here, taragna is made as it should be, with original Brembana Valley products and recipes from the upper valley, and is paired with delicious, tasty traditional dishes, served quickly and attentively at a reasonable price.

Excellent lunch with a set menu, excellent first courses (casoncelli, foiade, and blueberry risotto), good second courses, top-notch polenta taragna, and a varied selection of desserts.
The only negative was the salami (far from local, in my opinion).
Parking was difficult.

It's a very large space, always very crowded and consequently very noisy. The Bergamo cuisine is the restaurant's hallmark, and they're delicious, but there are some caveats...in my opinion, catering to large numbers of customers detracts from the quality.

A fantastic experience in Bergamo! I took my mom to La Ca' della Taragna for lunch on Epiphany, and even though the place was packed and they found us a last-minute seat, the service was super fast. The polenta taragna is obviously the highlight: excellent quality and authentic flavors. The prices are moderate, but absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients. The real added value, however, is Cristina: a very kind person, a true "soul" who knows how to entertain and make guests feel at home. Highly recommended!

My partner and I chose the couples menu. Everything was delicious. The casoncelli and polenta were amazing. I would, however, recommend the polenta, as it's very cheesy, but they probably used cheeses that weren't particularly flavorful. I highly recommend it, though. It would add a little more atmosphere to the place. Otherwise, highly recommended!
