Everything was truly superb: the kindness of the staff, the food and beer, the location overlooking the canal. It's hard to choose what this place's strong point is. You won't be disappointed.

Tried only at midday as a break from cycling along the Martesana, this pub combines good food and beer with a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere (thanks to the girls at the bar and the wait staff). Prices are on the low end of the norm (for Milan). Highly recommended, especially in spring/summer when you can sit outside.

Very popular, excellent craft beer
We rented a room in the inn where this place is located and stayed there for the rest of our trip. Every time we came home, we noticed how crowded it was and how it hosted a lovely and diverse group of people, including families with children. Its riverside location, combined with the park, made it very appealing.
I tried two of their own beers. I liked both:
Jesus and Psycho.
I also had a cocktail, which was very nice. The staff were young and friendly. The energy was high. I think the prices were very reasonable. I considered myself lucky to be so close to this place.

This is the spot you long for every time having a walk along the Martesana naviglio. Young cheering people sitting in outdoor tables or directly on the canal edge drinking handcrafted beer, forgetting the finite of their lifetime here on earth throughout a puff of rolled tobacco (and yet another beer). Spring is even better, with a marvelous canopy of wisteria (glicine) surrounding the place. A true heaven on earth when you wish a little perdition with your new Milanesi friends on a warm Saturday afternoon. I’ll leave you with a picture of what you’ll see in front of you: the starting point of the Martesana naviglio.

Great vibes and excellent beers (I love the Gose style, which is always available here). The outdoor space is perfect on sunny days; it's comfortable and has a sense of freedom. Having the Martesana nearby makes it even more charming.
The menu is varied and includes medium-sized sandwiches. Recommended!

We visited this bar during the Winter Olympics and discovered it by chance. The beer cost €5.50, and as someone coming from Slovakia—which I consider a true beer country—I was pleasantly surprised by the quite good selection. The place was full of local people, which gave it an authentic atmosphere. It’s a self-service bar, and on the terrace there were heaters, so it was comfortable to sit outside even in the cold. A good, relaxed spot to stop for a beer.
