Highly recommended hotel. The service was impeccable and staff friendly. Only thing to put a finger on was the cobwebs in the room and terrace. Apart from that: Great view, peaceful, great food, beautiful pool, helpful and friendly staff. Just a great stay overall.

Located in an exceptional location with breathtaking views. We received a very warm welcome; the staff was charming, always smiling and helpful. As for the restaurant, we really appreciated the selection of its menu, the quality of the food, the impeccable service, and not to mention the layout of the terrace where we ate.

I spent two days at this property, which certainly boasts a respectable view; five stars is not enough. I'm sorry that things change when you enter the rooms; ours was standard, so it didn't have a lake view, and it was small, but that was fine. A negative point was the cleanliness, especially the floors. I should start by saying that, having a fair amount of travel experience, we usually leave nothing on the floor to facilitate cleaning. Unfortunately, the same dead fly remained there for the duration of our stay. I understand that since it's probably family-run, costs need to be kept down, but if the showerhead is full of limescale, it should be replaced. I won't comment on the food, which was normal. The staff can be impatient at times, but that's understandable and tolerable.

Eight-night stay. Ideal location halfway between Piazza Motta and Sacro Monte. Access to the former is still easier. And just before the pedestrian zone, parking within the hotel grounds is crucial. Even if it's crowded at first, the hotel always finds a solution. Very welcoming, multilingual staff, the same dedicated people from morning to night, all speak French, so much for practicing. Room with partial lake view, ours was enough to contemplate the island of San Giulio at sunrise, without even going out onto the small balcony; it's hard to get bored. Very classic layout, but nothing is missing, with a good level of cleanliness. The interior soundproofing was too poor for the screaming children in the adjoining room. A trolley is available to facilitate luggage transport, which is very practical, but the distance from the rooms on the east side makes it essential. Wonderful panoramic views - for all guests - on the terrace for breakfast, very comprehensive and varied, with immediate replenishment, and fast and flawless service for the "bevande calde." The same goes for dinner, with a wide selection and rather refined dishes. The pool area is well-appointed, and the reasonable number of families allowed me to enjoy a few strokes this time. But the 7:00 p.m. closing time is too early for a swim after a walk. In any case, it seems difficult to find another hotel with this level of amenities and service at this price—certainly not economical but not stratospheric either—to peacefully enjoy Orta San Giulio—and beyond.

The view is breathtaking and they actually were very nice, because we got late and they still accomodate us without any problem. Food is great, portions are good.

Superb hotel, exceptional location, professional and helpful staff. Private parking allows you to visit Orta with peace of mind without spending time finding a space. A swimming pool with a lifeguard, a breakfast terrace and a restaurant, with superb views of the lake. La dolce vita! I recommend it.

Excellent experience! We stayed at the hotel for a weekend and will definitely return. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful; the rooms were clean and modern, and the breakfast was plentiful on the terrace overlooking the Island of San Giulio. The hotel's location offers stunning views. Orta is certainly a stunning, peaceful place, and at times seems like something out of a fairytale, but staying at this hotel made the weekend a perfect experience. We'll definitely be back!

La posizione con vista sul lago e l'isola di San Giulio è sicuramente una bella sopresa. Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità di posteggi comodi, la presenza della piscina che con il caldo è sicuramente un valore aggiunto e la buona colazione. Il personale alla reception è particolarmente gentile e disponibile. Ci tornerò sicuramente se nei paraggi. Scelta top.
