Good food; I had the lemon scallops, which were delicious. My husband had the beef tagliata, but it was small, meaning the portion was small. We were offered a toasted bread with pork loin on top, which was delicious. Excellent wine, very attentive and kind staff, and the owner was very hospitable. The atmosphere was intimate and charming. The dining room was small, a bit awkward to move around since it was full, but fullness means it's popular, and I really enjoyed it.

Recently renovated, this welcoming restaurant has been meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. Tuscan cuisine revisited with exquisitely crafted dishes. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, as was the owner, who pampered us from start to finish. Definitely worth repeating...with GREAT pleasure!

28/02/2026: Excellent location halfway between Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo. I wanted to return after eating there a few months ago, having had a good experience. A simple restaurant with a genuine atmosphere. The restaurant is small, and since it's always busy, it can feel a bit cramped, but the typical Tuscan osteria atmosphere makes it pleasant. I recommend making a reservation if you're traveling with a large group (which I did last time, when there were 18 of us). Today, since there were only three of us, we still found a table right away, even without a reservation. On both occasions, I found the food to be of high quality, and the service was attentive and fast. The service was never intended to rush you to get up, but rather to allow just the right amount of time between courses. I appreciated the attention we received when it came to the bill (which, even à la carte, is very fair and offers a remarkable quality/price ratio). I thank them publicly. It will definitely be a go-to place when I return to Florence.
