The night bartender (Shanky) was the best. He was attentive accommodating and gave us great information about the area. The food was a plus it was delicious from the wings to the carbonara to the chicken bowl. Best place to end the day or have a good dinner.

We thought we would try burgers in Rome just for kicks. Learn from our mistake - DO NOT DO THAT! The burgers are dry flat meatballs. The fries didn’t have salt on them. It was crazy loud and the servers were so busy that there was a wait for everything.

Merula Caffè: a little gem in the heart of Rome Merula Caffè is one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by the aroma of authentic coffee and a warm atmosphere, meticulously crafted yet unobtrusive. The staff is friendly, smiling, and attentive—making you feel more like a guest than a customer. The coffee is excellent, aromatic, and carefully prepared. The desserts are also excellent, especially the tarts and croissants, always fresh. I really appreciated the tranquility of the place, which allows you to enjoy a leisurely break, even amidst the bustle of the city. A corner of Rome where taste and kindness meet. I will definitely return—places like this deserve to be discovered and remembered.

Very friendly staff. The waiter spoke French and was very polite and kind. The food was very good and the Guinness we like. Very affordable prices for Rome. I recommend it 100%, you'll have a great time.

Last week, while looking for a place to eat in the San Giovanni neighborhood, we stumbled upon this restaurant somewhat by chance—and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery. I ordered the lasagna and a side of grilled eggplant, zucchini, and peppers seasoned with spices and oil: everything was delicious, carefully cooked and with authentic flavor. Even the coffee, often overlooked, was truly excellent. I loved the interior: spacious, well-decorated, with attention to detail and a pleasant atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly, and the quality/price ratio was truly excellent. We were lucky to stumble upon it by chance—we'll definitely be back!

Shanky and Mimi are the nicest and most kind and attentive. Shanky’s a mixology expert, Mimi drives the place and expects nothing but perfection. As a foreigner for my first time in Rome we came back 3 times for food and drinks. Great people, great vibe and great food!

A great place to grab a meal and meet friends. It's a great atmosphere, perfect for watching a sporting event. The service is very friendly, and there's plenty of space.

I found this spot on Google with not too many expectations, but wow it superseded every level of comfort & standards you look for in a bar/restaurant. The young miss Annalisa provided her food recommendations with pure honesty, and it was incredible. So good we came back a 2nd time! The drinks were made exceptionally well by our bartender, very cool & down to earth guy! The entire staff was wonderful to be around. What more can you ask for? Great service, amazing food, quality & affordable drinks.
