Came for lunch after a visit to Vatican City and this is the best lunch we have had in Rome so far. Pasta dishes are to die for and the place feels so authentic. Highly recommend.

Our favorite Roman trattoria… we come here every time we come to Rome… They do all the Roman classics exceedingly well, never disappointed… don’t be thrown off with all the American and foreign tourists they’re just well informed!

We spent 13 nights between Rome and Florence and my wife and I both agreed that this was the best meal we had the entire trip. A table in the cellar added to the ambience, the carbonara was exceptional, the mussels and garlic pasta my wife had beyond exceptional. The fried artichoke starter was much better than I anticipated (my wife loved it) and the tiramisu was the best we've had in Italy. Our server was top notch, skilled in his craft and we could not have been more happy to have dined here.

Very good, arrived very late, we were welcomed anyway. Excellent carbonara! Vespa in the middle of the restaurant...I love it!!!!🥰

I had dinner and lunch there on consecutive days. Have not tried anything that was not tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant which from the outside may seem like a classic for tourists but as an Italian who has been to Rome several times I can say that it is an excellent restaurant. The former are around €13-16 and the latter €18-22 for land ones and €25 for fish.
The only "negative" side, not the fault of the restaurateurs, is that you might find some Americans (alas, they are incapable of behaving in restaurants).

I piatti della tradizione, su cui spicca la cacio e pepe, sono serviti nel rispetto di una ospitalità elegante, come si addice alla location su via di ripetta a pochi metri da piazza del popolo; tuttavia, senza perdere le caratteristiche di tipicità e quantità proprie di una trattoria.
Consigliato assolutamente per pranzare al Tridente.

36 euro per due pezzetti di saltimbocca, un piatto di patata al forno, un’acqua e una insalata che aveva tutto l’aspetto di essere quella di decoro ai piatti riciclata diversamente. Sono stata altre volte in questo locale e mi sono sempre trovata bene ma questa volta delusione pura. Come spesso accade nelle grandi città quando cala il flusso dei turisti
