30/04/2026: The pastry shop offers a good and varied selection: pastries, biscuits, chocolate, and depending on the season, panettone, colomba, etc. Not bad for a lunch break or a coffee always enriched with a biscuit.
25/04/2026: I stumbled upon it this morning, unaware of its existence, as I had an appointment for 9:15 a.m. on that very street. Being a little early, I decided to stop for breakfast, and that's where the magic begins. It feels like stepping into a place where time has stopped in the 1950s and 1960s, brimming with sweet and savory delicacies beautifully displayed on the long glass counters. I decide on a cappuccino and a bombolone, and I can't begin to tell you how delicious and indulgent the latter was, overflowing with cream without reserve. Then I spot the focaccia with cherry tomatoes on the balcony—the Apulian kind, to be precise—and since it looked inviting, I decide to buy one to try at home later. Well, I lived in Bari for a while, so I think I'm quite familiar with this specialty, and when I put a piece in my mouth, it was like savoring the true flavors of Puglia in Lombardy. Today was a sweet serendipity. A 10 cum laude.
