The atmosphere is that of a Roman trattoria: quaint but a little shabby (a bit messy). Generous portions and quality food: slightly pricey for the location, but good value for the quality of the food served. The service (a little slow in our case) is managed primarily by the owner (I believe), who interacts a lot with the diners. This is also very quaint, but I realize some might not like it. I appreciated that they also served pizza at lunch. I would definitely return.

I had dinner on Friday with my colleagues. Excellent experience: - 1. I called at 9:00 PM to ask for immediate table availability. Valentina, who answered the phone, managed to arrange a table for us despite the short notice and the already full room. - 2. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by Valentina and the owner and sat down. - 3. We asked for a red wine, and they suggested a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which was truly excellent. In fact, we ordered another. - 4. Our courses began with an appetizer of mixed fried fish, which passed the Test perfectly (the supplì were especially excellent). Then I ordered an amatriciana, which was very good, and my colleagues ordered cacio e pepe and a gricia, both excellent! - 5. The restaurant is small but well-organized, and I recommend it for dinner with colleagues or friends, or for a date. Hats off to Valentina for her personality and attentive service.

Excellent food, friendly and welcoming staff, a family atmosphere, and an owner who made our lunch even more enjoyable. We'll be back as soon as possible.

A true trattoria, as you'd expect in Garbatella. Not touristy. Excellent food.

A family-friendly atmosphere where you can eat good Roman food. Try the fried anchovies. The desserts are delicious too! The owner is very friendly!

Nice place, welcoming, good food, and reasonable prices. I had a great time and I think I'll be back soon! Update 2025 - Another birthday at La Bottigliaccia today. Always the same homey atmosphere, welcoming and warm, like the food.

Excellent first course, nice atmosphere

Excellent hospitality, a comfortable and familiar atmosphere, the owner and staff endowed with brilliant and intelligent conversation (not so easy to find in this historical moment), but, above all, a Cacio e Pepe and a Gricia that are pure poetry. The quintessence of pureness, and remarkable precision of interpretation. I won't dwell on the rest, excellent and excellent, to emphasize how essential, no matter what you order, a taste of these two dishes is. Flavors you'll remember well beyond the time of your dinner, embedded in the comfort zone of your memory.

A classic Roman osteria, with outdoor seating and pleasant service. The cacio e pepe is excellent. The meatballs are passable, the baked potatoes are unremarkable, and the panna cotta is excellent. Definitely worth trying again.
