Real Roman trattoria, not touristy but genuine. The place does not have any attention to detail and looks like an old-fashioned trattoria. I was really pleased to see a similar location. Excellent food and really plentiful. Super friendly and nice staff, it feels like eating with friends. Very good price.

I was there two days in a row because my son underwent surgery in the adjacent clinic. A splendid experience: kindness, availability, courtesy and excellent food make this place a promise to return on the occasion of future checks. Wonderful chat with a local elder who told me anecdotes and suggested visits to this neighborhood unknown to me. Romanity is beautiful!

abbiamo trovato per caso questo posto e abbiamo deciso di provarlo. il cibo ci è piaciuto tranne le patate al forno decisamente troppo gommose. le polpette ottime. il resto è stato comunque buono. il vino della casa è il classico vino da osteria. scende bene. forse, visti i prezzi dovrebbero abbondare leggermente di più le porzioni ma in generale lo consiglio.

we found this place by chance and decided to give it a try. we liked the food except the baked potatoes were definitely too chewy. excellent meatballs. the rest was still good. the house wine is the classic tavern wine. it goes down well. perhaps, given the prices, the portions should be slightly larger but in general I recommend it.

Esperienza che va fatta e, appena possibile, rifatta ancora e ancora! Il locale è nel quartiere della Garbatella e, se si vuole mangiare la vera cucina romana immersi nell’autenticità, questo é il posto giusto! Dalla struttura architettonica, agli arredi, passando per il menù e, soprattutto, incontrando il magnifico proprietario ci si catapulta dentro alla Roma verace, sincera e squisita!! I piatti vi lasceranno senza parole ♥️ Non vedo l’ora di ritornarci!

An experience that must be done and, as soon as possible, done again and again! The restaurant is in the Garbatella district and, if you want to eat real Roman cuisine immersed in authenticity, this is the right place! From the architectural structure, to the furnishings, through the menu and, above all, meeting the magnificent owner you are catapulted into the true, sincere and exquisite Rome!! The dishes will leave you speechless I can't wait to go back!

27/01/2025: The grilled lamb and potatoes were delicious. The prosciutto was good as well, but felt a little heavy. The female staff member was very kind. She had a lovely smile. The restaurant was clean and had a quiet, calm atmosphere. You could tell this place was loved by the locals. It was a wonderful lunch.
26/01/2025: Really delicious food! Super quiet and full of locals, but only 10 mins from the entrance to the Vatican museums. Not that jolly, but very calm and friendly.

20/01/2025: The place is well looked after, with engravings of proverbs and sayings in Roman dialect. We booked with The Fork, our table was located in a slightly awkward area, in the center of the passage. We asked for a change, but were told that the other tables were already reserved. There are glass partitions between the tables which take away some of the "tavern" charm that is needed. We ordered a pasta carbonara and one with a sauce of ribs and sausage: the latter was more successful than the carbonara, but both pastas were a little too al dente. The price of more than 30 euros for two pasta dishes, a quarter of wine and a bottle of water is fair, but we expected something more.
14/01/2025: Good quality and abundant Roman cuisine. Excellent pizza. The waiter Salvatore who served us for lunch was very helpful and professional.
