Went here for a group lunch with friends and we were very satisfied. Everything was well-made, in an authentic way. Friendly people and cozy interior. A gem and local's favourite for sure!

I hate giving everything 5 stars because it feels inauthentic. In reality, it was a wonderful experience in every way. The kindness is matched by the quality of the traditional dishes. I say this as a true Aretino (Chianina) who returned to Arezzo on vacation. Congratulations and thank you. (And I haven't even mentioned the price! Honest is an understatement.)

A lovely little spot surrounded by nature where you can eat excellently, and the price is reasonable, thanks in part to the successful concept of a grocery store/osteria with no table service. The menu ranges from typical Arezzo dishes to schiacciate (flatbread) with hand-sliced ​​ham, with about thirty seats indoors and the same number outdoors.

I went to this restaurant near Arezzo this weekend, highly recommended by a local friend. The foie gras toast, pork head sausage, and ribeye steak were all excellent. The owner was very welcoming, introducing us to their seasonal dishes and even inviting us to sample some local wines. While we were eating, we happened to run into a Harley-Davidson motorcycle group having a meal, along with a gentleman dressed as Santa Claus – the place was bustling and the atmosphere was incredibly lively. If you're ever in Arezzo and looking for an authentic Tuscan meal that's not overpriced or extravagant, this place is definitely worth a try!

03/03/2026: A small, intimate restaurant with provincial flair. This is mostly a one-man show so the menu is a bit limited but the food is on-point. The menu is all in Italian but with Google, we know how to translate and the waitstaff could probably help you navigate through. The sglitto di manzo (braised beef cheek) was very rich and flavorful, as was the tartuffo tagliatelle. Tiramisu made for an excellent end to my meal! To note: If in need of green veggies, it is not always available. This place operates in limited space but trust you will get food indicative of local flavors.
19/02/2026: The welcome wasn't exactly cheerful (perhaps because it was Sunday?), but the food made up for it. Very good bruschetta with pecorino cheese and pears, the ribollita was perfect, and the "sfilato di Chianina" (braised cheek) was out of this world: I've never tasted meat so tender, it melted in your mouth. And then there was the amazing hand-crafted Chianina tartare in a pecorino sauce with generous sprinklings of grated truffle. All washed down with an excellent half bottle of Cortona Syrah. The kitchen is in the middle of one of the three dining rooms, and the chef is tireless—a real spectacle. The bill? Just over €30 per person.

21/01/2026: The best when it comes to breakfast, both sweet and savory. The products are incredibly fresh, carefully selected, and incredibly delicious, perfect for a delicious start to the day. The large back room is truly beautiful: bright, welcoming, and spacious, ideal if you want to stop and enjoy breakfast slowly, without rushing. A place that combines quality and atmosphere, perfect for those who like to start off on the right foot and with something delicious in hand.
03/01/2026: Always delicious sweets of all kinds, comfortable seating, and fair prices. I highly recommend it to everyone.
