La Botteghina In Cortona

A simple charcuterie plate and a glass of Chianti - a lovely afternoon treat! There were six types of cured meats and two local cheeses on the small platter. The woman helping spoke some English and was very nice and accommodating. All in all a great, low key experience!

A pleasant surprise!! Quality cured meats and cheeses?! Normal prices. We ordered a large cured meats and cheese platter, costing 18 euros. Really good. Worth it!! Fresh bread!!

Atmospheric place, served by a fantastic lady :)

I found this little place by chance. We had a platter for two, which was absolutely excellent. The hostess was wonderful, and the service was truly superb. She was kind and welcoming. The food was excellent, and the prices weren't too expensive. I'd go back; it was a truly pleasant experience!

A great deli lunch spot, from counter to table. Homemade cuisine served with a smile, in the historic heart of Cortona. A varied menu and a wide selection of local products (many excellent items on the pantry shelves and souvenirs, with a nod to the tourist). The creativity is commendable; from the cutting boards to the tableware, to the coffee served in a moka pot. The tables outside are charming (and the staff's dedication is commendable). Excellent!

I don't know why La Botteghina doesn't get 5 out of 5. It's a very special shop and restaurant, with top-quality products (the wild boar is delicious!!), its owner is charming and cheerful, there's little space but that's okay, and eating at the tables outside on that alley is wonderful. You can tell she's very good, and with so many customers it takes her a while to get there, but it's also fine to help her and lend a hand by joining her in the shop if you feel like it. I recommend taking your time and enjoying that moment of tranquility in a wonderful place with delicious local products.

Very nice little grocery store in the center of Cortona. We bought some charcuterie there, which was very good! I recommend it.

We stopped at La Botteghina for lunch during our stay in Cortona. We enjoyed an aperitivo with local wine and, most importantly, a really high-quality platter of local cheeses. The first courses we ordered were also delicious. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommended!

Avevamo voglia di mangiare delle bruschette e dei crostini. Siamo stati coccolati e viziati, ma soprattutto soddisfatti. Accomodati sui tavolini adagiati sulla scala alla destra del locale, la Sig.ra ci ha fatto gustare alcuni dei prodotti di loro produzione e devo dire che tutto ciò che è arrivato a tavola era buono. se siete in passeggiata e avete una voglia come la nostra, questo è il posto giusto

Pranzo non velocissimo di coppia, la signora gentilissima ci ha avvisato che era da sola e che ci sarebbe voluto un po’ per mangiare. Tagliere misto buono e abbondante, crostoni non eccezionali. Vino buono.
