La Botteghina In Cortona

Very nice little grocery store in the center of Cortona. We bought some charcuterie there, which was very good! I recommend it.

We stopped at La Botteghina for lunch during our stay in Cortona. We enjoyed an aperitivo with local wine and, most importantly, a really high-quality platter of local cheeses. The first courses we ordered were also delicious. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommended!

La Botteghina is a deli in the beautiful and historic village of Cortona, in Tuscany, Italy. With wonderful local Tuscan wares for sale, this place is a real taste of Tuscany. The owner is a lovely lady who I would describe as "bright and bubbly". There are tables and a restroom, but it is not a restaurant. If you are ever in Tuscany, it's worth a stop-in.

My food was OK but not for worth the 43 euros bill. The best part was the antipasto of ham and cheese then I had a salad which sounded more exciting than it was, chunks of chicken in a tomato sauce which also sounded better on the menu, a glass of wine, cantucci and vin santo.

An unassuming little delicacy. We only wanted a panini and ended up staying there. Great wines, outstanding ragùs. Ate it, and we were thrilled! Bought it, and we were thrilled. A recommendation for anyone who enjoys little delicacies. Unfortunately, you can only eat these delicacies there or take them home. But you can't order them online. 😩😩😩

What can I say.... Perfect combination; the quality of the typical local products that blend with the kindness and availability of the one who welcomed us today (Mrs. Gabriella), who, despite having to divide herself between the tables of the consumers on site and those who stopped for sandwiches, (it is a shop/restaurant), was able to manage everything with the utmost professionalism. The height of excellence came at coffee time, when we saw her arrive with tozzetti and......LA COFFEE MAKER (sublime). Thanks to Sabrina and Maurizio (the mainstays), without whom we most likely would never have discovered this small characteristic place.

We wanted to eat some bruschetta and crostini. We were pampered and spoiled, but above all satisfied. Seated at the tables on the stairs to the right of the place, the lady let us taste some of their products and I must say that everything that arrived at the table was good. if you are walking and have a desire like ours, this is the right place

Pranzo non velocissimo di coppia, la signora gentilissima ci ha avvisato che era da sola e che ci sarebbe voluto un po’ per mangiare. Tagliere misto buono e abbondante, crostoni non eccezionali. Vino buono.

Locale piccolo ma molto grazioso, abbiamo assaggiato ottimi piatti tipici del posto spendendo il giusto. La proprietaria è stata davvero gentile nonostante fosse da sola.
