Very fine cooking: risotto especially good but the white fagiolini are also fabulous. Roast chicken excellent. Wonderful olive oil that they are famous for. We agree with other reviewers that the selection of Tuscan wine is first rate and exceptionally fairly priced. Visit their nearby deli for picnic stuff and also good selection of wine. We went back twice for the food. Service can be a bit haughty. But no one can be nice to customers all the time. A small price to pay for cooking of this quality.

Nice place, very close to the historic center, very good food, friendliness, very good service guys, and above all (for those who love to drink well) remarkable bottles, of value (especially Tuscan) with honest markups (which is not frequent). Definitely worth going back to

We had lunch at BotteGaia on April 25th. Nice place, in the center and characteristic, quite elegant. We were made to taste a truly excellent quality oil. Excellent food. Good appetizers, quality food, tasty ham, refined cheeses and excellent terrine. Spaghetti with tomato and anchovies, very tasty but balanced, really good duck sauce and pici cacio e pepe with mortadella, nothing to say, all very good. The cheesecake and the reworked millefeuille represent the perfect ending to a lunch. Unfortunately, given the day and the place full, there was too long a wait for the first courses, probably also due to a misunderstanding between the dining room and the kitchen. However, a very positive experience, worth repeating.

We went with the whole family one evening for dinner, Alessandro was an excellent host as were all the dining room staff, the wine and food were of the highest quality, recommended!

Vicino al Duomo si trova questa bella Osteria che fin dalla sua accoglienza, ti fa sentire a casa. Scontatamente la cucina, si basa sui prodotti e piatti della cucina locale e toscana. Personalmente i pici all'anatra che ho mangiato, li ho trovati paradisiaci! Lo stesso vale per le restanti pietanze godute con la mia compagna, che sono andate dai crostoni, alla trippa toscana con annesso ottimo vino! Chiusura del pasto con ottimo passito!! Rapporto qualità/prezzo che mi porta a consigliarlo vivamente per chi si trova a Pistoia. Bravi tutti...
