La BotteGaia In Pistoia

Everything was great, the food was very good and the service was perfect. We loved it! 🙂

Historic restaurant serving traditional Tuscan dishes, beautifully prepared and presented. Attentive and cheerful staff.

A small eatery hidden in one of the side streets, with a small garden. The menu is interesting, there's a recommended dishes card, prices are normal, but the coperto is 4 euros. We tried a cold tripe salad and pasta with duck – interesting flavors, but very small portions. The waitress was seemingly nice, but added 5 euros to the bill for alcohol we didn't order, so be careful and check your bill. EDIT in reply: it is your obligation (as a manager or a waiter) to check, if the amount and the dishes/alcohol on the bill is correct (and no, you didn't bring anything "by mistake or sth". I have strong impression that you just don't like customers if they are not Italians or Americans, and do not eat 4 courses - and I have right for that. Edit 2: Where did I accuse you of being a racist (especially that I'm orginally from europe)? You can't just humbly accept an opinion other than a 5-star one. There's a Polish proverb: 'Uderz w stół, a nożyce się odezwą' (If you hit the table, the scissors will speak up), which means something like 'He who excuses himself, accuses himself.'

A cozy, pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, and the service was top-notch! The dishes were explained in detail, and we got to taste several types of local olive oil! A fantastic experience!

I frequent the center of Pistoia a lot but I had never been to BotteGaia before.. A wonderful dinner, meanwhile by calling at the last minute we went from 2 to 4 and they accommodated us without any inconvenience, (restaurant full). The pleasant welcome, the courtesy and helpfulness of the wonderful staff, they noticed the inconvenience that our bags were causing us, that they brought us a chair to put next to the table. A gesture much appreciated and not taken for granted. Delicious food, I am celiac and was satisfied. My partner even had a second appetizer and second dessert 😂.. pleasant evening in the company of friends.. We will return without a doubt.. Well done 👌

What a superb find this place was. Food of the highest quality. Service was just as good. We are here for two weeks and we will definitely be using this place as our go to restaurant

Consigliato da una barista, siamo arrivati qui per caso.. ottima posizione, pulito.. educati e gentili. Cibo veramente ottimo e della tradizione. Consigliatissimo. Segnato da tornare alla prima occasione.

Vicino al Duomo si trova questa bella Osteria che fin dalla sua accoglienza, ti fa sentire a casa. Scontatamente la cucina, si basa sui prodotti e piatti della cucina locale e toscana. Personalmente i pici all'anatra che ho mangiato, li ho trovati paradisiaci! Lo stesso vale per le restanti pietanze godute con la mia compagna, che sono andate dai crostoni, alla trippa toscana con annesso ottimo vino! Chiusura del pasto con ottimo passito!! Rapporto qualità/prezzo che mi porta a consigliarlo vivamente per chi si trova a Pistoia. Bravi tutti...
