The managers are two wonderful people, it is a "homemade gem" among the very touristy places in San Gimignano. Highly recommended

We had dinner with a board of various cold cuts and cheeses that we loved both for the quality and its presentation. Even the flower was edible ;) We must also highlight the friendly and personalized treatment of its owner Sandro, since we have gone with our daughters and he has provided them with material to draw, phenomenal! The music has been perfect, we have discovered Italian music that we loved. Everything great.

Highly recommended, starter, main course and dessert were simply delicious :)

Unassuming, modest and tiny, this is like stepping into a local's front room. Only four small tables, so seating up to eight diners, and nothing fancy - but that's the charm. So many (though not all) of the restaurants found within the city walls are geared to catering for the regular coach parties, and that's one reason you should check out this place instead. A warm welcome from the host and a simple, handwritten menu, featuring just a small selection of traditional Tuscan dishes. We enjoyed a delicious lasagne and the meatballs with beans. This spot isn't trying to be anything other than a decent stop for a bite to eat - and is so much the better for that. Good, local Vernazza wine, lovely biscotti with a homemade dessert wine and satisfying coffee. Proper Tuscan hospitality - give it a go.

Ottima cucina ed accoglienza, portate abbondanti, i prezzi leggermente più alti della media ma sono valsi tutti fino all’ultimo centesimo contando il posto in cui ci si trova e la cucina così buona che dire che è buona è quasi un insulto, unica pecca il fatto che sul piano superiore fossimo leggermente stretti. Carne fresca, piatti veramente squisiti e pasta fatta in casa, il sugo era perfetto, la zuppa molto saporita, ottimi anche i vini. Considerando i piatti abbondanti (primo, secondo, 2 contorni, 2 bottiglie di vino da 22€ e 60€, caffè e ammazzacaffè) in 4 abbiamo speso 60€ a testa, assolutamente da provare e da ritornarci.

Buono! abbiamo preso un tagliere e una bruschetta da condividere ed un primo a testa. Il primo era buono, nella media. Il tagliere era ottimo! Anche la bruschetta era ottima!
