Very well-kept place. Excellent food and service. Friendly and helpful. I'd say I had a culinary orgasm when I ate the grilled octopus. Definitely worth a try. Kudos to the entire staff.

Rainy summer night in Trieste, we luckily got a table at Trimalcione. Food was fantastic and service was above five star. We had the branzino tartar which was excellent and regretted not ordering the crudo mixed plate to share. Freshest seafood perfectly prepared next time we go for the crudo! Husband had monkfish pasta it was so excellent I did not get even a bite. My mixed seafood sautée was good and included excellent clams and razor prawns. Above all excellent considerate and patient waitress, a lovely lady speaking fluent English and despite the fully booked dining room gave attentive and timely service. Would definitely go back and next time would order the mixed antipasto plate and the mixed seafood crudo. I forgot my iPhone 14 when leaving and recovered it 30 minutes later safely put aside by the server.

…perchè i piatti di pesce freschissimo sono stati serviti da personale gentile e professionale…abbiamo mangiato sia il piatto di crudi, buono anche al naturale, che capesante gratinate, buonissime…ottimi anche i secondi ed i dolci…accompagnati con Glera sfusa anzichè bottiglia perchè il prezzo nella carta dei vini è un po’ esagerato, unico neo della cena perchè il rapporto qualità prezzo di 50 euro a testa è risultato corretto…locale assolutamente consigliato!

Già sulla strada si sente un profumo di pesce fresco che ti invita ad entrare, il profumo conferma i sapori. Probabilmente il miglior risotto di mare che io abbia mangiato. Servizio ottimo e pezzi adeguati.
