A wonderful surprise in Radda in Chianti. La Bottega di Giovannino is a true Tuscan shop, welcoming and authentic. We were welcomed with great warmth and attention (one of the owners even speaks Portuguese!). The tagliatelle al ragù was the best we've had in Italy: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed pasta with a rich, well-balanced ragù. The bruschetta with pecorino cheese was also excellent. Thanks to their advice, we chose an excellent Chianti Classico Riserva. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Radda!

06/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday; there were nine of us, including my 15-month-old daughter. I'll start my review by saying that the food wasn't bad; the fish wasn't exceptional, but it was passable. Since it was Sunday, the place was packed—I think it was even over capacity—very noisy, and the crowds crowded together made the temperature very high and the air unbreathable. We asked to turn on the air conditioning (there was a split unit in the restaurant) but were told it wasn't possible. My daughter isn't used to such a noisy environment, so she wanted to stay outside the restaurant the entire time. The waiters were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. I honestly wouldn't go back.
