Had a lovely meal. Very helpful, friendly proprietors. Food was excellent, dessert to die for. In a beautiful little village, if ever passing again, we would definitely return

The best experience we could have had, thank you very much ❤️ Honest prices, wonderful view, delicious dishes, and wine aged in excellent conditions in the owner's cellar. All in all, great value for money. Highly recommended

Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale che si trova nel centro di Radda in Chianti. Locale semplice e accogliente come il personale. Ampia scelta di vini e di piatti della cucina toscana.

Ristorante Da Pode all' Hotel Sovestro

20/08/2024: I stayed here for a couple nights and it was such a great stay overall. The building/rooms are nice and clean, the pool and outdoor space is like a resort, they have a free shuttle to San Gimignano, and the included breakfast was delicious with so many great options to choose from. However, given the price of the stay it seems incredibly cheap that they turn off the air conditioning during the day and the only way to turn it back on is to pay €15 per HOUR. At one point our room was at 29°, which is just unbearable. In the evening they turn the AC back on and let it run overnight until the morning, but good luck if you need to work or relax in your room during the day.
20/08/2024: The strong point is more the restaurant than the rooms although these are not bad either.

17/08/2024: Like in the canteen: soft, tasteless lasagna, taken out of the fridge and reheated in the microwave. Cheap, but not worth more...
16/08/2024: Love this place. The owner is Rockstar. It's refreshing to go to a place where you are not going to be ripped off. The food, atmosphere and people watching was so much fun. Without doubt, this was one of my favourite places in Italy. Will be back!
