A great place with a lovely staff and owner. The food was delicious, the snail pasta and truffle pasta were fantastic, and the tiramisu was the best I had during my stay in Tuscany. The owner spontaneously showed us where his cheeses are matured – an incredibly nice man. Of course, we bought some cheese to try and we loved it. I highly recommend it!

Small location, weather permitting, it's better to sit outside (even if it's on the side of the road). I had one of the best mixed vegetable soups of my life (and I'm very harsh in judging), so much so that we ate three between the two of us! And I finished with one of the hard-to-find desserts (up north): zuppa inglese! Portions are a bit small, but overall good value. It's not a romantic place, suitable for families or small groups of friends. I would replace the base of the currently square stone umbrella (at the risk of customers and the poor staff who quickly climb over it) with a round one!

The food, the service, the atmosphere, the people. Everything was perfect. The owner showed us around the cheese cellar, which tempted us to buy some more. We are very pleased. It's a wonderful culinary gem in Tuscany. Thank you!

We happened upon it and instinct told me to stop. I was right, we ate well, the place was welcoming, the service was fast, the restrooms were clean, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

Pasta dishes with the famous Martelli pasta! Excellent! Definitely one of the best in town! The Cacio e Pepe is made with their own cheese made from three types of milk (instead of Pecorino). Delicious and a place to linger!

Classica bottega dove si vende e si cucina... tutto in modo eccezionale. Antipasti, primi, secondi ed anche i dolci tutto buonissimo e soprattutto di qualità. Da segnalare la tagliata, il pecorino grigliato, tagliere di salumi, tagliatelle al cinghiale e la zuppa inglese. A fine cena giro nella cantina di tufo di stagionatura del formaggio. Eravamo in 8, due famiglie con piatti adatti anche per i bambini. Per la qualità del cibo il prezzo è molto vantaggioso. Personale qualificato, attento e simpatico. Dovete andarlo a provare.

Abbiamo cenato lunedi sera e ne siamo usciti molto soddisfatti. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di ottimi salumi toscani e formaggi dell'azienda Busti e una eccezzionale fiorentina cucinata in modo impeccabile. Personale cortese e simpatico. Consigliatissimo

01/08/2025: If I could add more stars, I would! It's been a while since I've eaten so well. Today, my husband and son went to this beautiful osteria. Finally, nothing fake, touristy, or artificial... Just excellent food, masterfully prepared. We ordered appetizers, and our taste buds were already awakening. Then came a first course of tagliatelline with rabbit and asparagus, which was so good I didn't want anything else. I wanted to preserve that flavor as long as possible. My husband also ordered dessert and coffee (even the coffee was excellent, which is not a given). And then there was the friendliness of the ladies who welcomed us in the dining room. Beautiful, friendly, and generous. This will be our go-to place in Pisa, and we hope to return as soon as possible. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts... and from the bottom of my heart.

27/08/2025: We went there for dinner without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and the food arrived quickly. From that point on, things went awry. There were bone fragments in the lasagna. We pointed this out to the waitress, and she explained that this was normal, as the ragù is made with rabbit, and some rabbit bones are too small to remove. There was no mention of this on the menu, and there was no information about it when ordering. We finished eating after the waitress informed us... because fishing bones out of your mouth isn't really nice. The table wasn't cleared, and at some point I asked for the bill. It arrived, and the plates were still on the table. When a second waiter saw this, a minor argument broke out between the waiters, and we weren't spoken to in a friendly manner again. We were glad when we finally left the place. It was a shame, because the atmosphere was very inviting and promising. Maybe it was just the wrong day.
