A lovely discovery of Grignolino. Some of the works made with wine barrels could be better cared for, but the idea of ​​tasting the wine in the old cellar is very nice.

A very good wine shop that focuses on wine from the immediate Monferrato region. The price is vary from the every day to the slightly better than every day and upwards towards the special. Expect red, white, sparkling and a very knowledgeable team who will talk you through the producers, the growers and the grapes. You can also come here for late antipasti while drinking a bottle or a few glasses. I really think this place is underrated. Lots of atmosphere inside of a traditional brick building with plenty of parking on the outside area although driving feels like a compromise.

A light Sunday lunch during a visit to Moncalvo. Quality food and wine, a historic setting in the castle's basement, and a fine selection of local producers.

A very special place, inside the castle walls, I recommend it even just for a "visit"... wide variety of local wines and traditional dishes/platters

Locale affascinante e ben tenuto, con una ottima selezione di vini e piatti molto soddisfacenti. Il tutto con grande attenzione all'uso di prodotti locali e ricette tradizionali. Servizio ottimo: siamo stati accolti con grande simpatia e consigliati assai bene. Prezzi onestissimi. Un'esperienza eccellente, torneremo volentieri.
