The best food in Sicily, and gluten-free! Delicious gluten-free appetizers, pasta, main courses, and desserts! The chef was friendly and the waiter was super polite, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. You can see and taste the care and attention they put into the cooking and serving. And the icing on the cake was a truly excellent complimentary red wine on the house! Our vacation isn't over yet, but this might have been the highlight!                 To say we ate well is an understatement! The food was excellent, high-quality, and beautifully cooked. The portions were generous compared to many other restaurants (after all, what can you expect when the chef is one of Cascino's masters?!). The place was clean and comfortable, not to mention the kindness of the staff and the owner.                 We were with some colleagues from Villa Sofia and our wives in this historic restaurant, a memory of our youth, where we ate divinely well. The first courses were delicious, I had the gnocchi alla bava made with sweet cheeses blended very well, my wife also ate a good first course, tagliatelle with ragù of an indescribable flavor as good as it was. The second courses were all delicious, I had some very good lamb chops with exquisite baked chips. The staff was very professional and kind. In particular, Mr. Roberto, very kind, gave us good advice on both the first and second courses and recommended a good wine, the Syrah from the Sallier de La Tour estate. We finished by eating the almond semifreddo with hot chocolate, invented many years ago by the patriarch of Chef Cascino Salvatore.                 We celebrated my daughter's communion on Sunday, everything was beyond our expectations, the attention to service, the very high quality food, the environment taken care of in the smallest details. You made us live a perfect and splendid day, not only for us, but for all our guests who gave us so many compliments for the choice.
