Ci siamo fermati tornando da Matera per una cena a base di pesce. Tutto ottimo, dalle materie prime freschissime alla realizzazione dei piatti, così come la ricca scelta di vini da abbinare. Antipasto ed un secondo di pesce. Abbiamo concluso con un buonissimo dessert (io ho gustato.il Tortino al cioccolato 😋😋😋 ve lo consiglio!) Il tutto coronato dalla cortesia e professionalità del padrone di casa 👍👍👍 Se siete in zona fate qualche km. in più ma poi ne sarete felici e soddisfatti😃😃😃 . Consigliamo senz'altro!

We discovered “The Good Excuse” during a stay in San Giorgio Ionico. It was delicious! Very good fish dishes, elaborate and with quite original combinations. The service was great. Intimate atmosphere. Daniele welcomed us very warmly. For each dish he explained everything to us and he made us taste lots of different things. THANKS! I highly recommend.

18/05/2025: Staff don't understand English. We asked for what looks like a mini pizza x2, we got a cold pizza for a price where we could have gotten a regular pizza. We sat outside and because the staff didn't remove food after customers immediately there were way too many pigeons eating pizza leftovers. It was really annoying. Not a special experience, we didn't eat here again on our holiday.
13/05/2025: Danke Roberto! Wir waren 3 Monate in Taranto und Stammgäste bei Roberto. Beste Pizze und noch dazu preiswert. Aber das Beste sind Roberto und sein Team, immer freundlich, immer hilfsbereit, immer humorvoll. Lieber Roberto, danke für Deine Gastfreundschaft, Deine Gespräche, Deinen Humor und Dein Verständnis für unser schlechtes Italienisch.

Tutta 'Nata Storia

23/05/2025: Such a great place - a must go. Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Italy - the cheese was so good, the tomato sauce - everything. The owner was also an absolute legend and very kindly and patiently listened to my horrible Italian.
23/05/2025: Say what? Best pizza, atmosphere incredible and the owner is not only a good waiter, but he cooks one of the best pizzas we've ever had. Thanks for all the experience! We will definitely come back. Again, one of the best pizzas and the quality of the ingredients is incredible. Viva Napoli! Viva Tutta Nata Storia!
