Ci siamo fermati tornando da Matera per una cena a base di pesce. Tutto ottimo, dalle materie prime freschissime alla realizzazione dei piatti, così come la ricca scelta di vini da abbinare. Antipasto ed un secondo di pesce. Abbiamo concluso con un buonissimo dessert (io ho gustato.il Tortino al cioccolato 😋😋😋 ve lo consiglio!) Il tutto coronato dalla cortesia e professionalità del padrone di casa 👍👍👍 Se siete in zona fate qualche km. in più ma poi ne sarete felici e soddisfatti😃😃😃 . Consigliamo senz'altro!

We discovered “The Good Excuse” during a stay in San Giorgio Ionico. It was delicious! Very good fish dishes, elaborate and with quite original combinations. The service was great. Intimate atmosphere. Daniele welcomed us very warmly. For each dish he explained everything to us and he made us taste lots of different things. THANKS! I highly recommend.

04/02/2025: Small but welcoming location. Friendly and nice owners. We ordered 34 fried panzerotti, no problems ordering on time Delicious panzerotti and very full of seasoning. Colleagues delighted with this variety, we will return often
26/01/2025: Always at the Top, I am never disappointed every time I come. They finally brought back the sausage and turnips that I couldn't help but try again. Fabulous, delicious light. At least 2 are a must, the third when I really want to overdo it but it's a pleasure to go down. Keep it up!!!

10/01/2025: Such a fun spot on a Friday night! It was packed but the service at the bar was great and we managed to find a table after a little while. Excellent selection of wine, beer, and cocktails!
19/12/2024: Location with perfect atmosphere and good food (to be paired with an infinite number of wines). The staff makes you feel at home... I always come back willingly!
