We were given the only available table on a sold out night. The staff were very kind and helpful in guiding us to some of their best dishes: Osso Bucco risotto,duck breast ham with blackberry sauce,peach and rosemary gelato. We had a delightful and undeserved meal.

Just steps from Porta Romana, in a quiet and refined setting, La bettola di Piero, thanks in part to the owner's warm welcome and the delicious selection of traditional Milanese dishes, proved to be a pleasant discovery during our stay in the city.
Special mention goes to the risotto alla Milanese with ossobuco and the tiramisu.

The best most authentic meal we've had in Milan. Great quality food, authentically and lovingly prepared, local, seasonal and delicious. We enjoyed the veal brain, frogs, ravoli, osso bucco and risotto, and of course the milanese veal chop. Portions are massive. Wine list is very cute and hand written and locally produced. If I could go again this trip I would!

We loved this place. Quite different from what we've tried so far in Italy. The food was very homey and delicious. Everything was exquisite. The desserts were also delicious.

Family-run osteria with upscale cuisine at a reasonable price (especially compared to some tourist spots).
People here know each other and enjoy coming here. Reservations are therefore essential.
The menu seems to change regularly – I found partridge on the menu online, but it wasn't available. Instead, pheasant was on the menu – I opted for venison and was absolutely satisfied.
Only the profiteroles weren't convincing. It still gets 5 stars.

Sono stata a pranzo alla Bettola di Piero l'8 marzo, insieme a mia sorella.
Non avevamo prenotato, ma la signora che ci ha accolte, è stata talmente gentile da chiederci qualche minuto di attesa per poi farci sedere.
La sala è davvero accogliente, cosi come lo sono l'organizzazione dei tavolini e dei menu.
Ci tengo a scrivere qui ciò che ho detto anche alla signora prima di andare via:
"è stato davvero un pranzo speciale!"
E noi non vediamo l'ora di tornare.

Bella trattoria vecchio stile in una delle zone più belle di Milano.il personale gentilissimo .il menù non è decisamente di piatti semplici ma piuttosto ricercati restando nella tradizione milanese. Prezzi in linea tra la posizione/prodotto/menu ricercato
