After years I returned with friends from Bettola, what can I say? It seems that time has not affected the passion and quality of this place, the preparation of dishes that speak of tradition and flavors of our land. Pericle and his staff are always friendly and helpful, as well as welcoming you with a smile. If you pass through Specchia, pay a visit.

I found myself in this restaurant by chance and I must say that it is truly excellent. True typical Salento cuisine. Small but cozy restaurant!

I entered alone, with my family, with my partner in this splendid restaurant and I was amazed by the quantity and infinity of this place looked after by Mr. Giuseppe, by Mr. Pericle, by Mrs. Penelope, by Mrs. Chiara. I can only. confirm that it is a wonderful place and the words do not take long to describe the beauty of the place you have to stay inside and feed your eyes to understand how precious and great this tourist structure immersed in Salento is and I confirm that it is a paradise. Because behind a successful show there is always a great organization. The organization and those who know about cooking, cleaning, know what the costs are in €. There are for a place like this to be agile and available for you tourists who come to Salento for your relaxation in the summer. Mr. Giuseppe, Mr. Pericle, Mrs. Penelope, Mrs. Chiara etc.... They are great people with great criteria of life experience for the will of soul to give the best of their abilities to the people who come to visit in our territory. Far from noisy cities etc. etc. You have the sea and nature at your disposal, so be more consistent and tolerant with yourselves. If you sometimes find something wrong in the place, it can happen. Enjoy what is still harmful due to human selfishness (DESTRUCTION) as customers etc.........I WISH THAT MANY OF YOU WILL COME AND ENJOY TO THE END ALL THAT THE GOOD GOD STILL OFFERS US LIFE

Their steak with grana is great, really good service. Bonus points because they’re taking care of an orange cat that stays outside 🫶

There were 7 of us and we were placed in the upper room: it was just us and we had a really good time! Fantastic welcome from the whole team, even though we were not "passing through" as a table, we never had to call their attention. Exquisite food: the pittule of the mixed frittino reminded us of our grandmother's, the vegetable dish was really good. We opted for a second course: mixed grill and beef tartare, all delicious! The icing on the cake are the potatoes made by them! Special mention for the homemade desserts and liqueurs! We spent around 30 euros each and left full and satisfied! Highly recommended

I've been wanting to have dinner for a long time and I finally booked. From the moment I made the reservation I could sense the pleasure of catering (which is rare nowadays)... my girlfriend never stops telling me that "the peppers are delicious"...!! !! As a good Salentino, here at Bettola you can find the true and old flavors of our local cuisine, the truly excellent meatballs and all the vegetables... I knew that the village meat would not disappoint me. Giuseppe very attentive and nice, well done. Congratulations and Thanks... We will be back as soon as possible.

Sicuramente i prezzi non sono da bettola e i piatti degli antipasti (piatto misto di frittatine 1cm x 1cm) miseri e deludenti al sapore. Consiglio sicuramente di degustare la carne, perché ottima in tutti i piatti presi .. direi forse che la carta dei vini è stata gonfiata in modo esagerato. Un vino della portata di 8-10€ non si può vendere a 33€! Per il resto lo consiglio se volete degustare piatti tipici salentini!

Excellent restaurant where courtesy, availability, simply fantastic and good dishes prepared with professionalism and love by Pericle and his staff make this restaurant a milestone in the panorama of home cooking in Salento. I also want to address a thank you personally to Pericle for the welcome and hospitality shown to us, allowing us to spend peaceful hours at the table, delighting our palates with appetizers, grilled meat and unique and fantastic desserts. I highly recommend it!!!

Cinque stelle meritate !!Abbiamo mangiato dell’ottima carne e ottimi antipasti per non parlare del dolce ( il salame al cioccolato) 😋, atmosfera intima e gradevole!! Consigliatissimo!!
