Discovered by mistake, and because we were hungry, it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, kind and knowledgeable staff. We had such a good time that after the first dinner we returned the following evening.

Absolute recommendation, a bit hidden but a highlight. Good fish with local side dishes, very good local wine, delicate dessert, of course again with a local connection, very friendly staff.

The pictures do not correspond to the facts, we were in la Betula, but sat in the Taverna Dell'olio Trieste, which is next to it on Google Maps, perhaps the owner(s) should clarify this.

Locale in pieno centro a pochi passi dall'Arco di Riccardo. Un bel pranzo di pesce. Buonissimi i gnocchi fatti in casa con sugo di pesce e i paccheri con cozze e pomodorini così come il filetto di orata assolutamente fresco condito con patate.
Il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino bianco della casa.
Ottimo rapporto qualitá/prezzo.

Very knowledgeable and kind staff, especially the girl who served us.
Congratulations for your kindness and friendliness. We ordered fried calamari, I would say very good and not at all greasy, and spider crab packets, a choreographic dish but a little demanding to take care of the fish's claws, but very good hacksaw.
At the time of payment, a bit of coldness from the owner... a nice glass of limoncello is always a pleasure.
Price within the norm, too bad the receipt was not issued!!!

Small restaurant in the center of Trieste, tables also available outdoors. Friendly welcome from the owner who we pleasantly found again after a few years.
Appetizer of creamed cod and au gratin. Busara tagliolini and gnocchi with catch of the day as first courses. Fried fish as a second course.
Generous portions and above all of excellent quality and taste.
The service staff attentive and kind. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Piccolo locale nel centro di Trieste, disponibilità di tavoli anche all'aperto. Cordiale accoglienza del titolare che abbiamo piacevolmente ritrovato dopo alcuni anni.
Antipasto di baccalà mantecato e gratinati. Tagliolini busara e gnocchi con pescato del giorno come primi. Fritto di pesce come secondo.
Porzioni abbondanti e soprattutto di qualità e gusto sopraffini.
Il personale di servizio attento e gentile.
Ottimo il rapporto qualità / prezzo.
