La Bellagina In Bellagio

The restaurant looked unassuming from the outside and inside. However, upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. A homely, family atmosphere was palpable. A smiling waiter invited us to a table and patiently waited while we placed our final order – it was difficult to decide, as the menu had so many dishes. Ultimately, we opted for the classic carbonara and gnocchi with vegetables. These were the best dishes we had at any restaurant on Lake Como during our week-long trip. The limoncello at the bar was also decent. The only thing that tempted us to visit this place was its opening hours, which didn't change during siesta – all the recommended restaurants were closed. Luckily, we found it and didn't rely on the reviews, which are definitely unfounded… If you're looking for a secluded place with delicious food (especially), we wholeheartedly recommend it!

We had coffee after walking up to the Volta Lighthouse via the funicular. A nice hot chocolate or a beer for some, and then we were ready to walk back down and take the funicular again. The view of Lake Como from the restaurant or the terrace is splendid. The service was friendly.

Very good views, food above average

When we arrived, we had to wait our turn, and we even opted to eat outside, in ambient temperature of 6°. It was worth it for the experience, the food, and especially the company. The service was very good and friendly. The coffee in my village is much better, 😎

Delicious fancy experience food

We enjoyed stopping by here during our trip and left extremely satisfied. The view is magnificent, the restaurant is very attentive, the waiters were extremely polite and attentive, and we felt right at home. It was a perfect experience in terms of flavor, service, and atmosphere.

Very good!!! Everything was good! The food was good, the prices were affordable, and the service was unbeatable (we arrived late and they still served us and let us choose from the menu). A traditional place, much better than the expensive, touristy atmosphere at the port. A 10/10 view.

Food is okay, service isn't very friendly. Only the view saves it.

At the time we reached only pizza was available so we ordered 1 margherita and 1 smoked salmon and it was good.

We dined here for eight nights, due to the lovely food, friendly hosts. Tonight was our last night as we're flying home tomorrow. We are sad to leave our "go to" restaurant but we are grateful for the wonderful service and delicious food. When we return to Bellagio you will be the first to know!! Grazie Ian & Margaret
