La Base Ristorante In Roma

I was in Rome last week, and during a late night out, my boyfriend and our friend were looking everywhere to find food. But good thing we found this restaurant! We walked in just 10 minutes before the kitchen closed at 3 a.m., and the staff were so nice about it! I ordered the shrimp scampi spaghetti, and my boyfriend and friend ordered burgers — which were all a solid 10/10! We came back the next day for pizza as our final meal in Italy, and it was definitely worth it!! The service was great, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly. One waiter even complimented my boyfriend’s hair, and it definitely made his day haha! And another waiter started a conversation with us and asked where we are all from. Overall, the food, atmosphere, & service was great. If you're ever starving late at night, this is definitely the place to as it opens until 4am. I’ll come back to this place with my friends the next time I’m in Rome. Thank you so much :)

Excellent service and very good food

We came again to our favorite restaurant La Base in Rome. My business partner and I have been following the tradition for many, many years, when we fly to Italy, we always buy a ticket via Rome to visit our favorite places and always La Base and only then we set off. This year we were there twice. And both times the food was amazing and delicious in our favorite cozy restaurant. Thank you for being there for your huge menu of delicious dishes.

I was surprised by both the quality of the food and the price considering it's so close to one of Rome's most iconic sites. Highly recommended if you're also looking for a place with a unique decor. We were able to make the reservation the same day, and the person who served me was friendly.

I've stumbled upon the restaurant by accident. The food was delicious and, despite the American atmosphere and names, distinctly Italian. The service was professional, except for the learning waitress who mixed up the names of the dishes. The Pop art climate is unique and wonderfully kitschy.

Food was decent,,no sauces for my fried calamari and a little skimpy also..my pizza was ok..the place itself was cool tho..not bad..

Andiamo a Roma circa una volta l’anno e facciamo sempre tappa alla Base , posto in posizione strategica , particolare e accogliente . Il menù è vario, puoi mangiare dal piatto di tonnarelli al pesce o la semplice pizza . Prezzi onesti e i ragazzi che servono sempre accoglienti e pronti alle richieste del cliente ( considerando anche che questa volta era la settimana di Pasqua e quindi Roma super affollata ). Per chi passa da quelle parti lo consiglio

Amici ci hanno portato in questo posto eclettico e caratteristico al centro di Roma carico di cimeli storici e ricordi della nostra infanzia e storia... accoglienza al top. La pizza non ci ha entusiasmato ma sicuramente torneremo per assaggiare il resto del copioso menu'.
