La Barrique Wine Bar In Venezia

01/04/2024: The limited menu advertises rather fresh products, the welcome was pleasant... But then disappointment. We feel the sighs because we don't order wine or antipasti, not pleasant at all. The dishes seem to be well cooked but the result is bland, not seasoned. Quantities are small. You pay a lot for the location, the setting, but if you want to taste dishes with flavor, go your way, it is better to walk a little further to find much better at the same price.

29/03/2024: Discovered this place just wandering along through Venice. They had a delicious range of chicchetti, washed down with some local Pinot Grigio. We shared a collection of six cicchetti between two of us and they were all extremely good and made on site. Sadly I couldn’t have the ‘biscottini’ afterwards as they were still baking! The staff were welcoming and friendly, and more than happy to explain the foods.
