La Barrique Wine Bar In Venezia

Great little place to stop for a wine/beer and some really delicious Cicchetti. Very knowledgeable staff, he has a real passion for what he does and it shines through. Air conditioning is best in Venice!

Really fresh and tasty cicchetti - esp. the mini octopus and pulled pork ones. Super friendly gentleman serving us - he described each wine perfectly and was a delight! Highly recommended

Really good wine bar, the staff were lovely and accommodating helping us try different wines to see what we prefer. Their English was excellent and overall and a lovely time, definitely would recommend and go back especially for good quality wine and prices!

We really love the restaurants and bars along Via Garibaldi. This wine bar is one of them. We pop in there in the evenings after sightseeing in Venice or attending the Biennale Arte exhibitions (it's quite close to both the Giardini and the Arsenale). Admittedly, the four of us can't seem to find a place to sit outside—it's always packed in the evenings. But we don't mind sitting inside for a glass (or two) of good local wine. The service is friendly and efficient. It captures the atmosphere of Venetian wine bars nicely, even though it's not located directly on the canal. At least it's located a short distance from the renovations currently ubiquitous in Venice. I highly recommend visiting!

If mediocrity was a food this would be the place to be. Also still wondering why there was American country music in an Italian place in Venice. The Sprits was great though.
