In Bologna, you'll find many street vendors selling chestnuts, but Baracca's, unlike others, are high-quality and well-cooked. They also make excellent herbal teas and cakes. Dogs are welcome.

La Baracca is a small place on Via Massarenti that offers roasted chestnuts and red wine in the winter and watermelon in the summer. This place isn't fancy, and that's fine: the atmosphere is relaxed, the food and wine are good, and the prices are fair. The staff is discreet and friendly. La Baracca is a perfect place to unwind on a weekday evening.

Very cozy and freindly place to enjoy chestnuts heated fresh, some red wine, tea, cute dessert and warm-hearted setting to sit with your friends ♥️ The only drawback is that it's on the street, so you keep hearing the cars pass by :') but you can still enjoy conversations on the table 😊 Highly recommended 🌟

31/05/2026: In a small village in the Emilian hills lies this trattoria, run by the talented and friendly Mrs. Angela. The atmosphere is homey, with rustic furnishings and a special touch from the artfully mismatched napkins. The crescentona is a must-try, accompanied by delicate cured meats, exquisite giardiniera, delicious friggione, and soft cheese. The grand finale is jam and hazelnut spread. But even if you don't eat crescentona, you can still find all sorts of delicacies, which I'll definitely try next time!

17/11/2025: A surefire lunch spot! I think Julienne is the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Bologna. Every day, the dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and the options are always delicious. I love every recipe and would order everything. You're the best! Keep up the good work!
