A piece of paradise, the place is calm and charming. The staff is attentive, professional and smiling. The food is delicious, bold and original. We had a wonderful time at La Bandiera. A big thank you to them.

I returned after a long time to eat at this fantastic restaurant and it was once again a pleasant surprise. I still remember the old menu with a simple and apparently anonymous "minestrone from our garden". I can still feel the unique taste and aroma of those vegetables in my mouth. The menu has changed over time. More sophisticated but still very high is the quality of the local ingredients and the mastery of the chef in knowing how to maintain the flavors of Abruzzo but with that touch of art on the plate. This time I chose the restaurant to celebrate an important event and once again it surprised me both by trying for the first time the vegetarian menu, excellent in flavor and balance, and by its hospitality. That right formality and that welcome that makes you feel at home. Congratulations to Mrs. Svetlana who never left our table despite the place having a busy event, as well as the chef who stopped by several times. In short, correct quality/price, impeccable service and a view of the Maiella with its hills made my day with friends unforgettable. Thank you very much and I hope you will always continue like this.

The place is fabulous, as is the surrounding area and their large vegetable garden. The interiors are very elegant and refined while the customer is welcomed by competent staff, who will guide you in choosing the menus and throughout the experience. Despite occasionally expressing a bit of coldness and little involvement on the part of the waiters (all a bit detached in general and often the wine poured was not explained well), the quality of the dishes was phenomenal. The Sea and Country menu is a journey of flavors that starts with excellent appetizers and one of their musts: the vegetable garden, a multi-course dish (as well as other courses) with unforgettable flavors and a very intelligent use of the various products from their gardens . The chef came out to greet some customers (maybe acquaintances), but we and a couple of other tables were ignored, too bad, I would have liked to know him. A recommended stop for an excellent lunch or dinner at a very reasonable price for the standard offered. I'll be back!

The first courses amazed with the balance of flavors and the chef's creativity. Both fish and meat were cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavour. Each bite was a discovery of flavors that told stories of tradition and innovation. The dessert closed this culinary experience in style. A dessert that combined the sweetness of the cherry with the bitterness of the cocoa, light but tasty. Followed by the small pastry shop. Breakfast also offered fresh local products: croissants, yogurt, capocollo, jam and seasonal fruit. Simple, but tasty. All the staff were courteous and helpful. In conclusion, La Bandiera is a hidden jewel in the Abruzzo hills that is worth a visit. Insegna abruzzese intrisa di avanguardia e massimo rispetto per la materia prima, in primis green. Circolarità in cucina ottenuta dai prodotti davvero trasmessa nel piatto e al palato. Ambiente come sempre confortevole con servizio e cantina di livello. Fare qualche chilometro in più vale davvero la pena. La passione della famiglia Spadone è sempre al massimo. Ottimo indirizzo.
