La Balera dell'Ortica In Milano

I've been coming to the Balera for years, and lately I've been increasingly disappointed. They've raised the prices (now €40 per person) from €35, €30, and then €25... they've reduced the portions, increased the number of tables so much that the dance floor practically disappears. The music is poor, and the evening has lost its meaning... even the crowd has completely changed, where are the group dances, where are the older people making you dance and teaching you the mazurka... probably driven away by the prices and the crazy crowd now. Before, you couldn't drink or smoke on the dance floor to enjoy the moment; I remember they scolded you! Now it feels like being in Gallipoli. A real shame. I miss you, Balera!

Dear Antonio, always compliments for the organization and the fun is always guaranteed, just look at how many young people are present... But yesterday the group of Saturday 5th July... They were really poor... It seemed like we were watching karaoke... Very poor and not up to par...

Let's say it's a completely different atmosphere compared to the usual place with music and etc. We were there for a birthday, I must say price-quality in the norm. The only negative note is the bathrooms and especially the mosquitoes. We paid 40 euros per person (first course, second course, dessert, wine and final prosecco).

The most beautiful place in Milan! Period!

A real dance hall. I had a great time. I will return because it is a place where you feel free.

Beautiful environment to spend an evening outdoors with good music. The thing that I found very annoying is the lack of cordiality with which the person who takes care of the reservation responds via whats app. I understand that you have to pay attention to half of Milan and therefore I understand everything but if you have a kind and polite client who asks you for information but perceives an annoyance sensation on the other end it's bad.

Sorry to write this review but we are not there. I have been there three times and it has always gone worse. The outdoor location is very characteristic but inside it is a warehouse, very hot and confusing you can't talk. We started with 35 euros the first time which was already high but 40 euros for the evening is excessive, the food is not bad but we are overpriced. It is true that there is also an orchestra but the music is low, you can hardly hear it unless you are under the stage. Nice and friendly service but like a village festival.

Sabato sera dopo 9 ore di auto arrivo distrutto in questo posto consigliatomi da alcune persone a cui ho chiesto dove poter mangiare bene a Milano passando una serata in allegria. Arrivo e vengo ben accolto da un signore alto brizzolato con la radiolina e da un signore con gli occhiali robusto nel baracchino. Mi dicono di aspettare un attimino ed entravo. Gentilissimi di una gentilezza umana e di altri tempi. Mi fanno entrare e mi trovano un posto vicino al proprietario un altro signore molto gentile che era seduto dietro me. Mi portano piatti davvero buoni e gustosi. Si preoccupano di chiedermi se fosse tutto buono. Comincia la serata con la musica, famiglie e amici con ottima musica e sano divertimento. Ciliegina sulla torta vado per pagare e mi dicono " offre la casa" . Non l' ho dato a vedere ma mi sono emozionato e ho ringraziato andando via e facendo i complimenti per il tutto. Gente semplice ma SPECIALE. Il tutto mi ha dato una gioia pazzesca ho visto persone stupende. Mi son divertito tanto con la musica. Consiglio vivamente e vi ringrazio di cuore ancora. Io sono salentino e siamo speciali e di cuore ma in voi ho trovato persone straordinarie che mi hanno donato gioia. Locale carino ben frequentato ❤️😊....Andateci.... Molto bello

Cena con amici, cibo di qualità (anche molti piatti vegetariani), ottima musica, ampi spazi, prezzi ottimi e... tutti molto simpatici e disponibili!
