Excellent trattoria, always fresh fish, very friendly staff, excellent quality and quantity. Super price.

Expectations were very high. Unfortunately, they were not met... Sunday lunch. 4 starters, not abundant and obvious... no first course unless made to order... they made up for it with the mixed fried fish and the Sardinian desserts, but not mixed... two pardule and amaretti... I don't think I'll frequent the place again... bill 30 euros per person

Aside from the shrunken mussels... a bit of sand in the bites... two chipped glasses out of six... a few pieces of glass on the floor here and there throughout the room... a few fish bones under the table... excellent quality raw materials... a shame about the preparation... and about many... or rather many details... in any case the price is right.

I'm back after many years. I can't help but be a little moved when I open the door and see the room full. Moved because I know, even if only through social media, the history of this trattoria, the passion and commitment of those who work there. Moved because you feel at home and immediately breathe in the atmosphere of the "trattorias of the past," which, sadly, no longer exist. Next to my table is a family with children. They laugh, joke, and have a great time together. A true Sunday lunch. There's little to say about the quality and quantity of the dishes: everything is fresh, excellent, and plentiful. I didn't even take a photo because, for once, I enjoyed the lunch.

The friendly atmosphere is what a trattoria should be. You can feel the love and tradition that is perpetuated. Excellent, from appetizers to dessert and coffee. I particularly enjoyed the octopus and potatoes and the burrida, truly excellent. The fritto misto was not only beautiful to look at, but excellent, and for someone who can't stomach it, I have to say it didn't cause me any problems. We'll definitely be back, especially because I'd like to try the fregula, which, unfortunately, they couldn't prepare due to missing ingredients... It's a given! Because, being a trattoria that focuses on seafood, they can't invent something that isn't available at the time. I really appreciated this detail. The desserts are few, but truly excellent, especially the orange amaretto. The owners are friendly, approachable, and witty. Highly recommended trattoria. Thanks, see you next time.

The only downside is that they don't serve first courses, but this allows you to enjoy everything else based on fresh fish.

Ristorante Martinelli's

13/03/2026: We ordered two tasting menus. The appetizers were numerous and very good. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the first and second courses. For the first course, they gave us two options: salmon ravioli or squid ink tagliolini with grouper ragù and bottarga. We chose tagliolini. The ragù was delicious, but the type of pasta made the dish subpar. The fresh pasta was too sweet, broken, and soggy, making the dish nauseating. With thick spaghetti, the ragù would have been excellent. For the second course, they only offered cod with yellow tomato and squid sauce. The sauce was delicious, but again, the fish, a bit stringy, was completely out of place. That sauce would have been perfect with sea bass, meagre, sea bream, etc. I wouldn't have expected such a fish. In any case, the selection of dishes was too limited. If I return, I'll opt for the à la carte menu because there was a wider selection of dishes, which I honestly don't understand isn't extended to those who opt for the tasting menu (besides, diners are required to order the same dishes). Very good desserts. Attentive service.
02/11/2025: Wonderful experience at Martinelli's, the food was superb, 10 out of 10. Congratulations! Everything was perfect.
