La Baita In Roma

31/10/2025: The four of us came with our dog to get away from the crowded Piazza del Popolo. The small shop immediately caught our eye because many students from the music school across the street were having lunch there. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food (pizzas, sandwiches, tiramisu for dessert, and coffee), the service, and the prices.

26/10/2025: I stumbled upon the restaurant at 7:30 in the morning on my way to a class. I was immediately struck by Mr. Silvio's kindness and smile. I returned at lunchtime with a colleague and we were both thrilled with the excellent lunch. The linguine with fresh tuna, cherry tomatoes, and olives was superb, and the chicken alla norma was exquisite, as was the tiramisu. The service and hospitality were impeccable, as was the value for money. An "old-school" restaurant, not for tourists, a typical Roman trattoria with an authentic flavor, a precious discovery in Rome's historic center. We'll be back!
