The food was certainly okay; the old woman who served us was friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. We did get the impression that "locals" had different menus than us tourists. The interior is standard local. We had to pay in cash.

Exceptional mussels, slightly salty first course, legendary anchovies. Excellent experience.

Giovanni's friendliness fills some gaps in the service, but that's okay given the young age of the waitresses, very nice and friendly, good food at a fair price.

You find yourself in an environment designed with understated elegance, where the cool air-conditioned interior offers the perfect refuge from the summer heat, while the outdoor terrace awaits breezy evenings to unfold its full potential. Passo Avanti: The textbook service. The welcome is warm and the attention at the table is constant; at the slightest glitch, the staff rectified the situation on their own, without even a word from us. A small welcome appetizer got things off to a flying start. Passo Avanti: The solidity of the dishes. The vegetable millefeuille with goat cheese fondue is a small masterpiece of balance, the mixed fried fish is dry and crispy, and the spaghetti with clams does exactly what it's supposed to, flawlessly. Medium Passo Avanti: The scampi, lime, and mint risotto. Technically excellent and delicious, even if the mint was a bit too shy in the background. Note for surfers: a minimum order of two people is required, a detail not mentioned on the menu. Passo Fermo: The readability of the menu. The geometric division between "Grandi Classici" and "Specialità" creates more doubts than certainties when ordering, lengthening the consultation time unnecessarily. Passo Fermo: The price positioning. The quality of the ingredients is good, but the final bill figures are slightly out of place when compared to a peripheral location that lacks the charm of the coast. Passo Indietro: The anonymity of the setting. Being isolated from the center means having to forgo walking (unless you want a half-hour walk) and makes it mandatory to turn on the engine. Children's Management: Smooth experience. The dishes on the menu and the portions are suitable for even the youngest eaters without having to request last-minute changes or modifications. Logistics and Parking: We're still in Liguria, but moving away from the sea is rewarding. The treasure hunt here is definitely easier than on the coast: you can park along the main road without the hassle of finding unobtainable blue lines. Comfort Details: The indoor dining room guarantees perfect thermal insulation. If you book in the height of summer, the outdoor terrace might be a bit of a hassle due to the area's poor ventilation. There were 3 of us. Grilled fish, octopus salad, and meat ravioli. Everything was delicious. There was a bit of a wait, but I assure you, it was worth it!
