28/03/2026: I admit that when we arrived outside, we were a little hesitant, as the entrance to the restaurant features a bare butcher's counter that doesn't even begin to evoke the atmosphere of a restaurant/grill. However, passing through a door, we enter a humble yet quaint room, in pure traditional style, with wooden tables and chairs, checked tablecloths, and copper tools adorning every corner.
As we sat down, we were greeted by the wait staff who directly asked us about our drinks and our preference for the carpaccio topping. We asked for the menu and were informed that there is a "surprise" fixed menu at €55 per couple, all inclusive. We accepted Mr. Michele's challenge and sampled all the delicacies on his menu, from appetizers to dessert, consisting of sweet taralli. The quality is excellent, and the cooking style makes you feel literally at home.
I'm taking one star off simply because there could be more transparency when booking, in communicating the fixed menu in advance, but otherwise, we were pleasantly surprised by the value for money. We will definitely be back.
08/03/2026: Rustic, but small and very stuffy.
Awkward service, a main appetizer (small portions), very generous meat, drinks included in the price (water, a carafe of homemade wine, and pseudo-Coke), the only dessert being sugary taralli, herb liqueur, and no coffee. You have the exclusive option of a set menu. The meat's flavor is subjective (pork and Norcia), and I don't like it. The stew is excellent.
You don't have a choice. If you go with this in mind, the price is excellent for the abundance; you can take home whatever's left.
