intendiamoci...il servizio è moooolto sobrio e moooolto semplice: nulla di ricercato, anzi.
Però la cortesia e la affabilità del personale sono un plus di rilievo, la conoscenza dei vini (fondamentale in una enoteca) e' apprezzabile, come apprezzabile e' la qualità della selezione di vini proposta.
A questo aggiungi la disponibilità a pranzo di un menù semplice, ma inaspettatamente vario e curato.
Siamo tati bene.

Alla ricerca del brodo di giuggiole, tipico della zona, siamo entrati in questa Enoteca a due passi dalla casa del Petrarca.
Ci ha accolti il proprietario, di una gentilezza squisita, che ci ha consigliato vari piatti tutti accompagnati da ottimi vini. Ho preferito pasteggiare un tagliere di formaggi dei Colli Euganei con uno spritz molto meno alcolico in quanto realizzato con succo di arancia, bitter e giuggiole.... delizioso. Ovviamente ho acquistato il brodo di giuggiole da portare a Roma ed essendo un'ottima enoteca in un borgo delizioso sicuramente ritorneremo.

Good bruschetta even if not generously seasoned (8-10 euros).
Jujube Spritz which only tasted like orange blossom, I didn't feel a very particular flavor as I would have expected being the birthplace that invented this "spritz".
The orange blossom good as always.

The product is of good quality, km0, nothing crazy but genuine, good.
There is a bit of work to be done on the environment and service, there is great room for improvement. The owner cares about the wine shop as if it were his son, well done! Recommended++

The place is nice, it's good for an aperitif and something tasty, but it's not cheap and the hype behind it isn't justified in my opinion.
Seen from the outside it looks like a typical rustic place but once inside it is a fairly touristy place, with typical packaged products and gift packages for sale; furthermore, the "panoramic terrace" is not particularly panoramic (it is closed between walls, with an awning, it only serves to give greater capacity to the place, given that the place is very popular with passing tourists).
The food is good, good quality, the jujube Spritz on the other hand is nothing special (in general, wherever you take it) and, even if it is their secret recipe, €6/glass seems excessive to me.

We went when it was pouring and only the internal room was open, the external one was being set up for the winter. The internal room looks more like a shop than a wine shop, while the external part seems very beautiful, especially the back with the terrace overlooking the hills.
Very good wines, we took 2 Reds, and the bruschetta was also good. Average prices for the Euganean Hills.
