Interesting place, lots of interactive stuff at first, then it gets less interesting. We caught an exhibition of James Cameron's works.

Well wanted to take the elevator up, but it was not possible on that day, so ended up visiting the museum. Its a good glimpse through time of moving image. And comprehensive about technique. Highly recommend for moving image historians. On top of history on the day there was display of Camerons creations and drawings. Cool place that could have used a tablet or two to tell the story of the building also..

After Antonelli's death, the completion of the spire was primarily overseen by his son Costanzo and his student Crescentino Caselli, who, at the same time, were also working on the consolidation of the bell tower of the Church of Santo Stefano in Venice. The spire was completed in early 1889, at a height of approximately 161.90 meters. With the final installation of the "Winged Genius" on April 10 of the same year, the building reached a total height of 167.35 meters, a height never reached by any masonry structure in Europe or anywhere else in the world at the time, and for this reason, it was nicknamed the Mole. On the same day, April 10, 1889, there was also a solemn inauguration ceremony[6] and public access, however, the people of Turin mistakenly and systematically mistook the statue of the "Winged Genius" at the top for that of an angel.
The Mole Antonelliana, inaugurated on 10 April 1889 and the tallest masonry structure in the world, entered into direct "competition" with the Eiffel Tower in Paris, inaugurated just 10 days earlier and which would remain the tallest building in the world until 1930.

A symbolic place in Turin, where you can see cinema exhibitions, visit the cinema museum, or take the elevator to see a splendid panorama of the city.

We loved the Mole Antonelliana, this architectural marvel that majestically dominates Turin's skyline. It embodies the soul of the city, offering a unique and fascinating experience to every visitor.
