This was our first visit to Komera and we were not disappointed... what a wonderful evening we had ., the staff were friendly and attentive looking after us and making us feel welcome .. with recommendations of wonderful fresh fish and pasta paired with lovely wine.. we laughed and had such a lovely evening with everyone.. thank you to everyone Please if you are visiting Monopoli make sure to visit .. !

A well-kept place, a rich and varied menu, dishes prepared with care and technique. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. I recommend the fried zucchini flowers, the baked prawns, and the perfectly creamed clam pasta dish. The millefeuille was sublime, and the wine was excellent, perfectly chilled, which is not a given. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Came here during our last night in Monopoli and walked away with great memories of a lovely dinner. Being vegetarians, myself and my partner found the menu a little restrictive, but we came in knowing what we wanted so the expectations were well aligned. The waiter assured us they could modify the Friselle to exclude the anchovy oil, which we found very accommodating. This was the best version of this starter we had during our stay in Monopoli, by far! The cheese and fig plater was also super delicious. The two vegetarian pasta dishes were simply mouthwatering. Deep flavours that felt like they had been nurtured in a home kitchen. The desserts were fantastic too and I would recommend their Tiramisu! Best one I had during this trip too. The atmosphere was fantastic, lovely and friendly, with the staff all carrying a good understanding of how to interact with customers in a warm and helpful way. Greatly recommend Konera to anyone looking for a special meal.

We booked Komara for what we thought would be a a special last evening in Monopoli. But what a strange and unexpected experience it turned out to be. The food was very good but we'd had excellent food all week in Monopoli and had expected that Komara would be a bit more special. But It just seemed so unfriendly and it really felt like a restaurant where the fun had been sucked out of it. Such a shame as most of the staff were friendly and attentive but the guy who seemed to be in charge really was in the wrong job or had had a bad day. So my advice to them is that if you want to offer a different experience to the numerous other restaurants in Monopoli you get over your pretentious aspirations and be a bit more customer friendly. Your food is great so you've got a head start.

Delicious food made with quality ingredients made for a lovely lunch. I had the spaghetti vongole with fiori zucchina. The color from the zucchini flowers is present throughout the dish and the clams add a salty touch. This dish will live on in my memory. My companion had the pasta with mussels and pistachio with smoked pecorino.

What an oasis of calm, good food and good service is the wonderful but crazy old town of Monopoli! The wine recommendation was spot on and our past dishes were very good - I did find myself wishing we had gone for the pasta special which was being prepared with theatre in a scooped out gran padano cheese!
