The dishes are delicious and beautiful to look at. Fresh ingredients and carefully presented. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is welcoming and offers excellent value for money.

Small, modern restaurant. Good and wide selection of dishes. I had grilled eel, Japanese soup, a gunkan with Fassona beef, truffle, and foie gras, and a selection of dim sum. Everything was very good. The two glasses of wine I ordered were also very good. The service was a bit absent at times, busy on the phone with delivery orders, I think. They offered me a liqueur because it was hailing outside, and they made me wait inside. Not bad.

Whenever I'm in Milan and craving Japanese cuisine, I head to Kisen, an easily accessible location. I'm always amazed by the varied and unique menu. Recommended ♥️

27/06/2026: 3 stars could have been 5 because it's good but the portions are too small, ravioli are crumbly and tiny although very good, gunkan in the photos were with seaweed and full of large ikura... a different one arrived
18/06/2026: I had lunch there a couple of days ago. The food was good, though I found it overpriced. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was decent. A la carte service only.
