Kilometro Zero In Montecchio

I tried this restaurant for the first time and it caught my attention. Not many tables, family atmosphere and lots of availability and courtesy. The cut was huge, very good and tasty, but I wasn't able to finish it (I took it to take away). In the bag there are 2 portions of pappardelle with wild boar that I'm taking with me to Rome because Giulietta is crazy about it. Price (compared to quality and quantity) very accessible.

Abbiamo cenato un sabato sera…ottima accoglienza e piatti davvero buoni. Abbiamo mangiato ottimi formaggi, una pappardella al cinghiale e dei ravioli di castagna con ragù bianco e porcini davvero da leccarsi i baffi!!!

Cozy atmosphere with excellent first and second courses. Refined and really good appetizer. Always ready to satisfy every request with quick cuisine and excellent quality/price. Every time we come to Montecchio it is a fixed stop for us. Thanks to Alessandro and Roberta. If you happen...at the end of the meal try Roberta's fig and dried fruit tart (10/10) and the gentian.

We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends and it was a wonderful discovery. Cozy, warm and well-kept place; kind, friendly and professional staff. We had an appetizer with bruschetta, cold cuts and quality cheeses. An excellent risotto with porcini mushrooms, porcini gnocchi and clams (yes! Because the surprise of surprises was that they also make fish and they do it well), a slice of beef cooked to perfection, stewed cod, pork fillet with apples and onions. In short, a place to return to and in fact we returned a week later, tasting other dishes and it was all delicious! From sunflowers, to umbrichelli cacio e pepe, from fried rabbit to coratella. Highly recommended! Compliments!

We had lunch in this trattoria located in one of the silent villages of Umbria. The environment is very nice and intimate. Mr. Alessandro welcomed us very cordially. We ordered a local charcuterie board and a cheese board. We then moved on to the first course and ordered gnocchi with the "old" sauce. A dish that personally really took me back to when my mother cooked, boiling the sauce for hours and hours to make it flavourful. We concluded with two desserts, a tiramisu and an excellent chocolate cake with a warm centre. We were offered a taste of really good homemade gentian. To conclude I can say that it was a truly positive experience and absolutely recommended. As for the bill, it was in line with the freshness and goodness of what we were served.

Pleasant place close to the historic centre. Good service. Menu of local dishes. However, the dishes, both the first and second courses, turned out to be a little too tasty with the presence of salt which ruins the flavor a little and which I think we should pay attention to so as not to ruin the dishes, which are potentially good and rich , and for any hypertensive customers.

Le aspettative erano alte dalle recensioni, ma purtroppo non è andata proprio così. Spaghetti con le vongole asciutti e una faraona in salmì che tutto si poteva chiamare ma non in salmì, e una cacio e pepe con guanciale, buona devo dire, peccato che nel menù c'era scritto con tartufo, ma completamente assente! Fatto presente al titolare, questi mi ha risposto che c'era non tutti i tartufi profumano....Vabbè giornata storta!
