I went for lunch today with my husband and it had been a while since we had been to this restaurant and as usual we had a great time. The environment is simple but nice and welcoming enough to make you feel at home. The food is of excellent quality and cooked in a traditional but home-made way, as if you were going to lunch at your grandmother's house... all seasoned with the friendliness and kindness of the owner and the staff. Excellent value for money.

Simply spectacular. Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, left us speechless. When the staff asked us how it was going, the only possible answer was: “Spectacular!”. And it was no coincidence: every course confirmed this impression.
The meats are exceptional, cooked to perfection and of above average quality. The first courses are amazing, prepared with the freshest ingredients and original but always spot-on combinations. The selection of wines is also excellent, perfect to accompany every phase of the meal.
It's really difficult to judge a place like this, because it manages to exceed expectations in every aspect. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!

A trip out of town, a walk through villages? Montecchio is for you and at Alessandro at kilometer zero you can find those good Umbrian flavors and beyond. Compliments.

Trattoria nel centro storico di Montecchio, di sicuro un posto dove andare a mangiare dei prodotti tipici davvero buonissimi e di qualità! Complimenti a tutti soprattutto ad Alessandro per la sua simpatia e gentilezza.. Abbiamo mangiato 2 sere e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo... Io mangiato una pasta ai carciofi eccezionale🤩!

Cozy atmosphere with excellent first and second courses. Refined and really good appetizer. Always
ready to satisfy every request with quick cuisine and excellent quality/price. Every time we come to Montecchio it is a fixed stop for us. Thanks to Alessandro and Roberta. If you happen...at the end of the meal try Roberta's fig and dried fruit tart (10/10) and the gentian.

Coming back from Terni we looked for a place to have dinner halfway and we found this place, it couldn't have been better, excellent food, excellent meat, very strong owner...! Try it we will be back for sure!

Abbiamo cenato un sabato sera…ottima accoglienza e piatti davvero buoni. Abbiamo mangiato ottimi formaggi, una pappardella al cinghiale e dei ravioli di castagna con ragù bianco e porcini davvero da leccarsi i baffi!!!
