Welcoming property with a great location 50m from Lake Caldaro. The rooms are a little dated but the pool surrounded by vineyards and the underground garage are definitely a big plus. Thank you!

We were on vacation for a week at the Kalterer See Hof. Can only warmly recommend this house. Beautiful rooms, super friendly staff especially Rubi, great terrace for a hearty breakfast. The lawn with swimming pool is also simply beautiful. Advantage - with the guest card - bus stops on the doorstep. Would love to come back. It was nice with you

02/08/2025: Terrible. It may have been a coincidence, but they served us a sour barley and vegetable soup, which they later changed, with apologies, for something they claimed was fresher. The second one, which I'm posting a photo of, was tastier, but the vegetables were only carrots. The interior is typical of a mountain hut, with a few tables that are often shared. We enjoyed it, but perhaps not everyone will enjoy it. Prices are expensive, in my opinion. The soup pictured is €10, with the addition of a deluxe sausage for €12, a medium beer for €6, and a liter of water for €5 (they don't serve carafes).
28/07/2025: Enchanting place! You can smell the scent of home as soon as you step inside. Found by chance on the road, stopping was the right choice. Pampered by the staff, we enjoyed a delicious platter of local cured meats and cheeses, and then dug into a plate of canederli (dumplings). YES!

23/05/2025: Eine wirklich sehr gute Überraschung auf der Tageskarte heute waren die Kartoffeltaschen, mit hauseigener Ricottafüllung, kleinen Tomaten, Käsesoße, Rosmarinöl, Knusperflocken, wunderbar präsentiert auf dem Teller, Sternekücheniveau auf über 2000 Höhenmetern. Wohltuender Empfang, sehr freundliche Bedienung, schneller Service, alles blitzsauber. Alle Bestandteile der angebotenen Speisen aus überwiegend eigener Herstellung! Kaiserschmarren! Alkoholfreie Cocktails. Alles preiswert! Von der Aussicht ganz zu schweigen. Da magst nimmer weg!!!
20/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato all’interno, con vista mozzafiato dalle finestre: tutto eccellente e lo staff gentilissimo. Disponibilità ad accogliere due richieste di variazione e conto in linea con la zona. Secondo me uno dei posti migliori dove mangiare. È bellissimo il locale ( io preferisco sempre i masi PRIMA della ristrutturazione perché mantengono la loro autenticità e il loro calore ma ultimamente in Alto Adige ristrutturano tutto e hanno alzato molto i prezzi. Il corno del Renon da girare è meraviglioso e anche semplice. Alla prossima!
