Joy Beach Lido In Avola

I went to Joy Beach with some of my friends in June and had such an amazing time. The beach was really clean and the water was lovely and clear. I loved the vibe with the music at the bar and the staff were all really friendly. The best part though was definitely the flamingo pedalò which was just iconic and so much fun! 🦩

Beautiful place, stunning sea, divine food!

First of all: If more than 5 stars were possible, we would give even more! The beach is fantastic and, above all, very, very clean, the staff very accommodating and incredibly friendly, and the food is even better than in restaurants – well, you wouldn't expect it to be so great at a beach bar. But it's really true! The seafood pasta, for example, was absolutely divine, and the bruschetta was fantastic and very flavorful. The mojito is also highly recommended. Boss Gioele, top chef Luca, service manager Carmen, and the team literally saved our vacation with their excellent beach bar. Thank you so much for that! We won't forget that! Absolutely fantastic. We never actually planned to go to Avola. Our B&B was in Catania. We wanted to have a nice, relaxing time on the coast, ideally without a car or motorcycle. Unfortunately, we completely miscalculated because Catania was terribly dirty. We travel a lot, but we've never seen such disgusting beaches. Still, they're very busy, mind you. So don't let anyone think we were just lost. Unfortunately, Catania has a serious garbage problem. We changed our plans and took day trips using public transport. Finding a clean, sandy beach still proved difficult. That seems to be a real problem in Sicily; in any case, we had no luck for days and were very sad and disappointed. Then, while endlessly scrolling through maps, we stumbled across this lido completely by chance and simply tried it out, even though it was a long way away. But from then on, it was a different kind of vacation! Finally! Very fine sand, very clean water, high-quality sun loungers, everything neatly organized, unobtrusive music, a great supply of delicious meals and drinks, the cleanest toilets, and spacious changing rooms. We felt at home from the very first second. Unfortunately, our Italian isn't good, but Carmen took care of us and translated with excellent English. We felt so at home that we came back the very next day! Even though it's a really long bus ride. A wonderful beach experience. Thank you so much. You do your job with real passion and genuine, pleasant joy. You're the best! Thank you for taking such care of us. (FYI for all readers: We're from Germany. Germans are known for their complaining. So hopefully this positive review is worth even more ;) Give it a try! No one will be disappointed.)

For the first time we went to this beach and it was an excellent choice, very quiet and also located on a beautiful beach, the beach has a refreshment area where we ate excellent fish and the owners were very kind and friendly 😊

A truly fantastic bar with a fantastic restaurant! The food is prepared with love; the pasta is excellent and even homemade. It's definitely worth eating here. Everything is fresh and made with passion. The staff is fantastic, very friendly, and of course, you can see the beach with its wonderfully clear, turquoise water! I'll definitely be back!

Terza stagione al mio stabilimento preferito alla spiaggia di Avola e dintorni. Struttura attraente moderna accogliente e ben curata con tutti i servizzi essenziali. Inclusa parcheggio. Una cucina da sogno a base di pesce valida di un ristorante top. Un patron Gioele e sua gentilissima moglie Angelica e loro staff che fanno di tutto e di più per accontentare ogni esigenza se possibile. Prenotate!! Non ve ne pentirete !

Ein tolles Restaurant mit geschmackvollem Essen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und würden, soweit wir wieder auf Sizilien sind, immer wieder zurückkommen!! Toller herzlicher Service, super Koch und ein nettes und gepflegtes Ambiente. Grazie ragazzi!!!
