14/12/2025: Quiet little place...very generous dishes...will return

01/12/2025: Da Zia Gio': a charming family name and a warm, welcoming location in a charming hamlet of Cameri, in the Novara area. A delightful evening in the chilly late November weather. To warm us up, we were served: 1) a delicious platter (house specialty) for four with polenta, local gorgonzola, wild boar tapulon (a traditional dish from nearby Borgomanero), sausage, and mushrooms; 2) a Dolcetto di Ovada, fresh but already full of character. High quality, and very kind and attentive staff. I didn't take photos because the convivial atmosphere among friends and the excellent restaurant, in a province of substance and few frills, doesn't require one. The powerful mental images suffice. Fairly priced. Worth revisiting...
