Simply incredible. The food was very good and of high quality. The atmosphere was very peaceful. I have a very good memory of the service, especially of the Brazilian waitress. They treated us very well and we left very satisfied.

Got it in the middle of the street. Long wait for our order. Only pizza available. Richly filled with lots of cheese. Pizza €9 to €10. Large bottle of water €5.

It seems like an authentic place. Totally 1911. But the food. The pizzas are only thinly seasoned. There were two mushrooms on the fungi. In itself tasty. But I still missed something. So I would say: just okay.

Das kleine Restaurant/Bar präsentiert sich in einem für Brera typisch, historischem Haus. Das Restaurant besteht seit 1911 mit einer interessanten Küchenlogistik. Die Küche selber liegt im 1.Stock, der untere Bereich ist für die Gäste. Diese Aufteilung sorgt dafür, dass alle Gerichte im Erdgeschoss final zubereitet werden. 1. Begrüßung Abhängig vom Personal. Die Service-Skills, wie auch die Sprachkenntnisse fallen unterschiedlich aus. Es wird Wert darauf gelegt, dass idealerweise nicht nur etwas getrunken, sondern auch etwas gegessen wird. Dies macht natürlich bei einem Restaurant dieser Größe mit relativ kleiner Außenfläche absolut Sinn und sollte einem Restaurant wie diesem auch nicht verübt werden. Die Hinweise bei TripAdvisor, dass das personalunfreundlich sei, kann ich ausdrücklich nicht bestätigen. Was ich hingegen respektlos finde und erlebt habe, ist, dass sich Touristen ein Getränk und dann ein Bruschetta für 3.50 Euro bestellen und dieses auch noch teilen. Ich möchte sie erleben, wenn es ihr Restaurant wäre. 2. Service Wir haben ausschließlich positive Erfahrung gesammelt. Sicherlich richtig ist, dass die einzelnen Mitarbeiter auf einem eher unterschiedlichen Niveau agieren. Dem Restaurant würde es gut tun und nebenbei auch meine letzte Bewertungs-Stern bringen, wenn hier im Service eine einheitliche Linie vorliegen würde. Das Auge für Kleinigkeiten fehlt aktuell noch. 3. Zum Essen Das Essen ist hausgemacht und besticht durch eine entsprechende Zubereitung. Ehrlich und lecker. Wir hatten einen Salat mit Pulpo, Lasagne, Ossobuco und ein Tiramisu sowie Getränke. Insgesamt 76 Euro sind dafür, inkl. der bezaubernden Lage angemessen. Fazit: Verdiente 4 Sterne. Kleinigkeiten im Service verbessern, dann gibt es das nöchste Mal 5 Sterne. Gute Adresse für alle, die einfach eine ehrliche Hausmannskost möchten.

Very relaxed Great food and service

Good place for a quiet lunch in Brera. We enjoyed the terrace at the back, much quieter than the front. Fast service, pretty good food and relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for a lunch without being surrounded by too many tourists.

Conosco il Jamaica da quando ero ragazzina,a ci sono sempre andata per cocktail o aperitivi. Avendo un appuntamento alle 14.30 in Brera questa volta mi sono fermata per un pranzetto, francamente un po' scettica, ma in zona tutto sembra molto turistico e mi piaceva presentare il Jamaica a mio nipote di 24 anni. Menù ricco, piatti molto buoni, porzioni abbondanti e servizio gentile, forse un po' lento, ma ci sta! Abbiamo pranzato fuori in mezzo a tanta gente pittoresca che passeggiava per Brera. Un' esperienza davvero piacevole ed un rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo, tanto più considerando la zona. Pranzare qui in una bella giornata di sole, che anticipa la Primavera....non ha prezzo! Bravi!
