I was there before they closed for the holidays.
Beautiful and well-kept place, interesting dishes with a mix of ingredients and textures.
For two, five courses and wine cost just under €100.00.
Excellent seafood miso soup, Catalan and raw ham are superb.
Parking is difficult.
Always friendly service.
I upgraded after the complete renovation.
It's definitely improved, although the service is still a bit slow.
Perhaps they're aiming for higher gastronomic achievements (Michelin).
The prices have gone up, and there are many new additions to the menu.
Interesting selection of wines by the glass (few but quality).
Wine cellar complete with French wines.
For two, four courses, one dessert, and three glasses of wine... €112.00.
We upgraded: superb grilled turbot and excellent sautéed vegetables.
Perfect service: €90.00 for two.
As we settled in, the IZU I knew returned.
Upgrade: sublime scallop tartare, both in taste and pairing, elegant presentation.
Always a perfect upgrade, excellent wine selection.
Several wines by the glass and great professionalism.

We went here with my partner.
Let's start with the quality of the food, which I'd say was excellent. The location is clean and very unique. Personally, I didn't appreciate the lack of tablecloths, perhaps a point to the management. The makirolls and my gindara were delicious, and the lobster gratin was excellent.

We opted for the tasting menu: the dishes were undoubtedly high-quality, but overall we found it overly simple.
Some of the staff were helpful and carefully explained the dishes; however, one waiter in particular, who served us for most of the evening, didn't provide adequate explanations. On the one occasion he attempted to describe the dish, he seemed uncertain and interrupted the presentation.
Considering the price, we would have expected a little more, especially in terms of service.

Izu Milano is an elegant and contemporary Japanese restaurant, where the experience is as much about the food as it is about the ambiance. The dining room is spacious, scenic, and meticulously designed, with a modern design that creates a refined yet understated atmosphere.
The cuisine offers a contemporary take on Japanese tradition: well-executed sushi, high-quality ingredients, and carefully presented dishes. The flavors are clean and distinctive, with a menu that focuses on balance and consistency rather than extreme experimentation.
Professional and attentive service, in keeping with the restaurant's caliber. A solid choice for those seeking high-quality Japanese cuisine in a refined and contemporary setting in Milan.
