I'Tuscani 2 In Firenze

Speechless (in a good way). The waiter told us as soon as we entered that they only had meat. We were prepared, but it's a nice touch; many people in Italy think they only eat pizza and pasta. We chose the Tuscan menu for two, which included a charcuterie board and a piece of Florentine steak, and both dishes were a hit. The steak was well-prepared and cooked to perfection. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten.

Overall, it was a good, solid choice. Uncomplicated, authentic atmosphere (it looks a tick more posh on the website). The drinks and food menu is not huge, yet we came for the meat which was indeed excellent and most will drink wine anyhow. The sides are on the small side, so better order a bit more. The staff was very friendly and the family felt at home.

Best steak in town!! We were recommended this place by our Airbnb host and we LOVED it! The steak is cooked perfectly and the sides are delicious as well. I'm pregnant so I couldn't eat rare steak, and the chef generously offered to cook my pieces well done! The service is fantastic. It is a bit expensive, but the steaks are HUGE and well worth the money!

Booked online to try the famous Fiorentina steak: everything was good. I recommend the vegetable gurguglione and the baked potatoes as sides. If you're looking for dessert, try the cantucci: they come in many different variations. The service was super friendly and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the amari. The place is a bit "hidden" from the outside, but the inside is beautiful and well-kept. Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying I thought I didn’t like rare steak, normally I would not like it; not here though. This was delicious. The meat was tender, had nice aging, and exceptional service. Cannot get food like this in USA. Definitely come. Diego is the best

A True Celebration of Tuscan Flavor – Unmissable Steak Experience We had an unforgettable dinner at I’Tuscani – L’arte della Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Every dish was a tribute to bold, rustic Tuscan cuisine, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming from the moment we sat down. We went straight in for the mains—and they did not disappoint. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was grilled to a perfect medium rare, seasoned with coarse black salt and served on a bed of rosemary. Incredibly tender, juicy, and full of character. We also had a filet served over crisp salad greens, and a side of sautéed porcini mushrooms that added a rich, earthy depth to the meal. Roast potatoes were golden and perfectly crisp. Our wine of choice was a beautiful bottle of Cabreo Il Borgo 2022 from Toscana—elegant and balanced, it paired wonderfully with the steaks. To finish, we enjoyed a selection of local goat’s cheese—the perfect way to enjoy the last of the wine. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, we were offered a trio of local digestivi, including Fernet Cerberus, Ratafia di Amarene, and Uvamurum—each with its own distinct personality. Dining here felt like a celebration of everything we love about Tuscany. This is more than just a meal—it’s a full-sensory experience. A must for any meat and wine lover in Florence.

We had dinner at this restaurant, which boasts a menu full of typical regional dishes. It specializes in meat dishes. All the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly, especially one of the waiters who spoke Spanish. He was attentive throughout the meal and made excellent recommendations. It was truly a blessing to run into him because he made room for us in the restaurant. It's best to make a reservation, as it's always full.

You can't visit Florence without visiting this restaurant. The food was spectacular and yet the service was top notch. The food was excellently prepared and you could clearly see the high quality of the meat. You can't possibly resist the inner animal and both my wife and I found ourselves eating even the last bits of meat that were still on the bone. My strongest recommendation! The service was also excellent and it was clear that they had a good knowledge of their selection. The great service made the already pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant even better! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence. Even if you are not visiting Florence specifically, but are passing by, it is worth stopping just to visit this restaurant.

Vi blev anbefalet en serie af mad, hvor vi startede med en masse små retter bestående af lokale specialiteter, brødet var dog ret kedeligt. Dernæst fulgte en kæmpe delebøf, hvortil vi fik salat, kartofler og de dejligste grøntsager. Dele hele blev ledsaget af en lokal rødvin. Betjeningen var nærværende og god. Tjeneren insisterede på at vil skulle slutte af med 3 lokale shots på huset regning, de 2 første var fine, men det sidste var ikke vores kop “the”
