Great food (the meat is top-quality) and great beers, well-presented in terms of styles. The staff is very knowledgeable about what's on offer and the atmosphere is very friendly! Must try...and try again. Edit: After 5 years, I stand by my review: absolutely the neighborhood's attraction! The beers are always top-notch, properly tapped...fresh, cold, not oxidized (not even at the start of service...which is not a given in Milan) in clean glasses and always perfect, with the right height of head depending on the beer style. Lately, the Mondeghili have become an attraction in themselves!!!

The quality is top notch. It's a shame I had to drive through restricted traffic zones to get there. Not being from Milan, that's a problem. The staff is incredibly friendly. The tiramisu is made to order. Totally approved.

Great beer, great service, great atmosphere

The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, but the service is slow and sketchy, and the prices are too high for a pub in a residential neighborhood without any tourist attractions (in other words, it's not in the center of Milan or even further into the Darsena area). A medium draft beer costs about €7 each, and the receipt isn't clear how much you paid and for what (I've attached the receipt). The sandwiches were nothing special (that night, the burger had some hard lumps inside and was a bit dry; perhaps it was cooked incorrectly). Last but not least, there was no light in the bathroom, and we had to use our phone's flash to use the toilet. €57 wasn't worth the evening.

Nice place, excellent beers, and very good food. The owner and waitress are friendly and helpful. Recommended for any occasion.

The staff is really kind and the place has a really good vibe. We ate two burgers and they were big and tasty! The beer was also great. Really nothing to add, just a really great place. We’ll be back for sure!

Drinks and atmosphere good, great selection of beers and ciders. From the kitchen, having read the reviews I would have expected more. The waitress was good and fast but the service was slow, 45 minutes for beans is too much. “There was a problem and we had to remake them” is not an acceptable reason.

Welcoming place, the lady always kind, excellent food, a nice place to spend a moment with a couple or with friends, highly recommended!!!

I had an aperitif with colleagues and I must say that the beers are really good! I tried two different ones and both were excellent! Too bad for the very slow service. The sandwiches basically had little substance, so I don't recommend them!
