you can't give less than three for the quality, the excellent food but this terrible habit of giving such poor first courses becomes tedious for those who want to fill themselves up. it boasts of giving you 80/110 grams of pappardelle, a portion worthy of a person recovering from the flu.
better on the latter. he is friendly and approachable but tends too much to prompt customers when ordering dishes and doesn't realize that his wallet doesn't always allow it (I speak for myself and I wasn't alone at the table...), it can cause embarrassment.
in any case it is a true Tuscan, not like some found in the Pavia area which are from Lodi, the quality is certainly to be rewarded.

Absolutely worth trying are top quality ingredients, processed as in the past without many frills but with a lot of love for the handed down grandmother's cuisine, we are in Tuscany and you can perceive the real flavours, well done Stefano, keep it up...

He welcomes us cordially and tells us the story of how he chooses the foods he serves.
Out of curiosity to taste what he describes to us, we choose an excellent Florentine steak
A pepper that I have never tasted so delicate and tasty, potatoes seasoned with very tasty spices and why not🎉☀️, a mix of pork cuts...

An institution in Vigevano. The owner, an exquisite person and a DOC Tuscan, puts all the love and passion into the dishes he serves. I don't recommend anything in particular on the menu because everything is delicious, from the starter to the dessert. Excellent raw materials and impeccable service. Well done!

Trovato per caso. Locale sobrio ma accogliente, caldo e ristoratore molto cortese. Qualità del cibo molto buona, cantina con buona varietà. Mangiato fiorentina e crostini toscani misti, buona bottiglia di rosso di Montalcino. Quattro chiacchiere simpatiche a fine cena con il titolare e conto più che onesto. Consigliato e torneremo sicuramente.
