For dinner with friends, we returned to this restaurant after years, and the meat is still as good as I remembered. We had two picanha dishes and a swordfish steak with vegetables and potatoes on the side. It was simply fabulous, it melts in your mouth. The restaurant could use a makeover, but honestly, it doesn't matter if the quality of the food is better than that of fancy restaurants. The owners are very kind and honest, especially when it comes to prices. I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I felt compelled to, especially after reading some absolutely undeservedly bad reviews. Highly recommended!

The Florentine steak was delicious, as were the grilled vegetables. The cakes were worth it, but we were too full. Very kind staff ♥️

29/12/2025: A truly authentic place to eat in a typical Italian atmosphere. I highly recommend it because it boasts a wide variety of dishes, especially the pasta and meat, which are prepared tableside and served exceptionally well. Excellent value for money ✅ The location is fantastic, situated on one of the streets leading to Prato della Valle. The building itself is beautiful, dating back to the early 1900s. If you're in Padua, be sure to stop by this restaurant and experience il Dolce Farniente ♥️ 🇮🇹

07/01/2026: Excellent service...fast...not shy about a smile...young staff serving tables. The location is retro but very welcoming...original decor...clean bathrooms...must be very nice in the summer as they have a large outdoor terrace. The owner is kind and helpful. I recommend it.
