31/05/2026: The motorcycle safety instructor took me there. Excellent, I'd say: appetizer with veal in tuna sauce, peppers with tuna, mushroom tart, tagliolini with summer ragù, roulade with a side of potatoes, strawberry ice cream, and coffee. We ate on a covered terrace with a beautiful view of the valley. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Affordable price. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
17/05/2026: We had lunch at this trattoria with friends. Overall, we ate well: simple, home-style, and typically Piedmontese cuisine, in a pleasant, unpretentious setting. We particularly enjoyed some dishes, especially the vitello tonnato, the cheese mousse with caramelized onions, and the bunet. The desserts in general also deserve a special mention. The lady who served them was very kind, and you could sense the care put into their preparation.
Unfortunately, however, the service left us with mixed feelings. The young man in the dining room was friendly and polite, but very agitated, and during lunch there were some misunderstandings and errors in the service, which are undeniable. The downside is that we didn't feel particularly welcome: one of the ladies, the one with gray hair, came across as rather cold and grumpy, making it seem like there wasn't much of a friendliness.
In short: good home-style food and truly delicious desserts, but a warmer welcome and more relaxed service would have greatly improved the experience and made us return.
