A good place for breakfast. Good coffee at an affordable price and traditional local pastries. The interior is quite small, although they also have a terrace. Frequented by locals.

Went there almost every morning for a Caffe (Espresso) to start into our day during our stay on Bologna. Espresso was amazing and very tasty. Service was really nice as well. 1.20€ per espresso. Can recommend.

On our last day in Bologna, before heading to the airport, we stopped by Irnerio 20 Café for breakfast—and I’m so glad we did! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even suggested I try one of their local pastries filled with ricotta cheese, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. Their cappuccino was excellent as well, rich and smooth, just the way it should be. We also tried some of their pizza slices, which were very tasty. We initially chose this café because it was close to where we were staying, but it ended up being such a wonderful surprise. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bologna! 🧡

Perfect place to grab a snack and continue exploring Bologna. The staff is top-notch and the food is delicious. We went with our 7-year-old daughter, and they have a variety of pizzas and typical Italian dishes, empanadas, toasts, hot sandwiches... We'll definitely come back again!

I was passing by this morning and we had a simple coffee, but I have to say it was definitely good, fragrant, intense, and persistent. I hadn't found a noteworthy one downtown for months. I should also add that the staff were cheerful and kind, which made the coffee break truly enjoyable.
