The best carbonara to be found in Rome!! Amazing

I can honestly say this was the best restaurant we visited in Rome. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed a full tasting experience featuring three different kinds of carbonara, and each one was unique and absolutely delicious. It was such a great way to explore different interpretations of this classic Roman dish. The appetizers were also excellent and perfectly prepared. What truly made our visit exceptional was our waiter. He took the time to explain every dish and each ingredient in detail, which made the entire experience even more special and personal. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. We were truly impressed and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome. Without a doubt, it was the best choice we could have made!

I discovered this place by chance while in the area. I must say I was immediately struck by the decor, the soft jazz music in the background, and the courtesy and kindness of the waiter who welcomed us and gave us a table even though we hadn't booked on a difficult Valentine's night. He found us a nice place, truly fresh, high-quality cuisine, dishes explained by the owner and excellent waiter. The owner also honored us with her stories about where the pepper they used comes from, or the guanciale... the method of cooking... And so on, she made our minds travel with her poetic way of describing the dishes. Here, the passion for refined food and the passion for top-quality ingredients shines through, above all, it's not touristy, the family atmosphere is really nice and the food is excellent! Go there for a very pleasant and relaxed evening where you will be pampered and enjoy dishes that take you on a journey. See you next time!

I've been to Rome several times, and I've eaten at mostly less touristy places. Despite being centrally located, this restaurant maintains above-average attention to detail in its preparation, pampers its guests from start to finish, and, most importantly, overlooks a delightful piazza. It offers classic dishes, as well as new takes on them. We've eaten there several times and have always been satisfied.

The best carbonara I've had in Rome, so delicious! The artichoke was mmm, the desserts, everything! I highly recommend coming and trying it. Forget the touristy, overrated places and try authentic cuisine like this. The tiramisu was spectacular! 😋

Excellent, authentic, and perfectly balanced carbonara. Impeccable service and an elegant, welcoming atmosphere. It clearly stands out from more famous restaurants in the city center thanks to the freshness of the ingredients and consistent quality. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

An Italian friend recommended it to us as having the best carbonara in Rome, and it didn't disappoint. The service was superb, the food excellent, and the prices very reasonable.

Antonio was the perfect waiter! he was super generous, funny and kind. we got little surprises along the dinner, and also tasted the best red housewine during of visit to Rome. the classic carbonara and the tiramisu were both exceptional!

Absolutely excellent. Mario was perfection as a maître, constantly friendly, never pushy. The fried artichoke left us swooning and both my carbonara and husband’s trippa were probably the best we’ve had - and we’ve had a lot… Wonderful tiramisu, too. Decent prices, though 3,50€ per coperto seemed very steep when even the bread basket apparently was charged extra (though possible to decline, as we did). Slightly saved by the little carbonara con cippola taster served as a treat. We will absolutely be back!
