Truly amazing carbonara! I absolutely recommend this place. The service was nice and swift. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

This is such a lovely restaurant!! The food is so delicious and the service is excellent! We stay close by and have ended up dining here three days in a row. The owner is so hospitable and knowing and we just love it here! The food is eaten long before we think of taking photos, thus the photos of half eaten food.
Reasonably priced, great selection of wines and food.
3 courses is 40-45€

Had lunch here after a morning exploring the Colosseum, The Forum, and Palatine Hill.
Very lovely to sit outside in the shade and breeze on a hot day and eat delicious food.
The caprese salad was refreshing and the saffron carbonara was beautifully creamy and seasoned perfectly.

This is truly a hidden gem in Rome. Beautiful location, incredible service by the lovely husband and wife that run it, and INCREDIBLE authentic Roman cuisine. Get the carbonara. No seriously, get the carbonara.

My best friend told me this place had the best carbonara. I can confirm. But their tiramisu is definitely not the best.
We had a great meal here. I started with two appetizers: the eggplant parmigiana and the zucchini carpaccio. Both were fresh and delicious. Then came the carbonara. We ordered the classic version, and what I really loved is that they actually bring you a tasting portion of the other carbonara on the menu (the truffle cream one) so you get to try both. Such a thoughtful touch.
Another thing I really enjoyed is that the owner (at least I assume it was the owner) came to explain the ingredients of each dish and where in Italy their producers were located. That was amazing.
Up to that point, we were more than satisfied. Then came dessert. I asked if their tiramisu was as excellent as their carbonara. The server hesitated, and I should have taken that as a no. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was a big letdown. It had a sour taste and no real coffee flavor. The server explained that the biscuits are soaked in a very light Nespresso coffee. Honestly, that’s just a crime. Using cheap coffee gave it that unpleasant taste. For 10 euros, it was not worth it, we couldn’t even finish it.
To be fair, they did offer us some limoncello and a slice of chocolate salami with dessert, which was a really nice gesture.
So overall: outstanding for starters and Carbonara but skip the tiramisu.
