Inn Bufalito Taverna Mediterranea In Sorrento

A little tricky to find but certainly worth it.

We walked in on a Friday night in mid September with a 7 month old and were greeted happily and shown a table straight away. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and doted on our little guy all night. Sorrento and Italy more broadly deserves its reputation for being massively child friendly, and at Inn Bufalito this was exceptionally so. The wait staff were first class, well attentive and super professional. We wanted for nothing and were given plenty of time to while away the evening. There were a variety of options to choose from but the steak menu is where this restaurant shines. It is the perfect spot for any fan of red meat and rich, complex wine. You better bring your pocket book if you do but every morsel and drop was worth each penny spent and then some! One of the best evening meals we have had and I would obviously highly recommend. Pefecto!

I was recommended this restaurant from a stranger I ran into in the US that overheard me talking about going to the Amalfi Coast. We went and were so glad we did. Inn Bufalito was the best place we ate at in Capri, Positano or Florence! Honestly might be the best restaurant I have ever been to. Can’t wait to come back someday.

Best steak I’ve had in a long time. Excellent service from Fabio who was tremendous. A great guy who made our experience second to none! Great for couples and larger groups. Highly recommend

Great restaurant on the edge of town. Top wine list with plenty of options, buffalo mozzarella was some of the best we’ve had. Portion sizes were spot on and service was friendly and attentive. A must visit in Sorrento.

Clearly owned by people passionate about their craft! My wife and I ate by the bar and had an incredible evening - staff was great, food was even better. We had many things - I’ll call out the buffalo filet and the wagyu tartar as highlights. Oh and the spaghetti nero! Of special note - the pastry chef is clearly very talented.

Best dinner we ever had in Sorrento!

Fantastic place with good service, perfect atmosphere, and they were serving us a mozzarella starter and a tagliata steak for main course. Perfect food!

The food was very good and the location cannot be beat. We had a buffalo mozzarella appetizer - it was average. Our main courses and wine were very good, albeit more pricey that other restaurants we had eaten at. I don‘t know if it‘s because the restaurant is in the heart of Sorrento but the service was pushy - our server pushed an additional starter on us when we had just ordered one, we had way too much food. At the end of the meal they were quite pushy again about adding a tip! Don‘t fall for this in Italy! It turned me off from ever wanting to return. Disappointing as I was quite looking forward to enjoying this restaurant.

The food was very good, the price was average or a bit above for the area. Somewhat limited menu but nice that they have red meat options to change it up from the typical food at many of the other restaurants. Service was just okay, we ended up waiting a long time for our table to be cleared and to pay the check.
