In Villa In Fontanellato

In the heart of the historic village of Fontanellato, the villa restaurant will welcome you with kindness. It's actually a villa, and from the small square with its San Pietrini, you enter the bar area. It has two floors and an incredible, well-kept garden with a small castle 🏰. In one of the rooms, we enjoyed a three-course set menu: A very delicate and delicious puff pastry with mushrooms, a couple of tortelli (pumpkin, ricotta, and spinach), and finally, a berry culis and gelato. Franciacorta and Lambrusco wines. Excellent value. The restaurant is good and, with a few small adjustments, could become excellent. Parking is a downside, as the famous market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

A truly top-notch restaurant in every way. The location is welcoming and elegant. The service was impeccable, with glasses changing as the wine bottle changed, elegant tablecloths, and a round of artisanal bread. The dishes were tasty, beautifully presented, and well-prepared. Even the desserts were a true delight for the palate and the eye. Reasonable prices considering all of this.

We chose In Villa for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We're so happy it was recommended to us! The location is beautiful, with elegant interior rooms and large, dramatic windows overlooking the park. The park is simply marvelous: spacious and well-kept, it's the perfect backdrop for a reception. But there's more: what really made the difference for us was Elisabetta and Alessandro's availability, professionalism, and kindness. The service, food, and organization of the entire day were impeccable, and we received countless compliments from our guests. We highly recommend it both as a restaurant and as an event venue!

The hotel seems somewhat neglected and the rooms could use some renovation.

To be commended. We were hosted at the In Villa property because our original choice, but under the same ownership—the Tre Pozzi hotel and restaurant—did not have air conditioning due to a fault. This solution was elegantly offered to us at the same price, and it turned out to be a great choice. The room/mini-suite was luxurious and welcoming, with perfect central air conditioning that was always on at the right temperature, excellent Wi-Fi reception/connection, a spacious bathroom, very comfortable mattresses, and a breakfast buffet (corn flakes, juices, Rigoni Asiago jams, among others), plus freshly baked pastries, eggs, and excellent local raw ham. Peace and quiet are guaranteed. The location is very central, opposite the Rocca di Fontanellato. The owner, Elisabetta, is efficient, extremely kind, and extremely helpful and elegant. Restaurant service is available only on weekends, and is currently provided by the other Tre Pozzi property. Our only suggestion—and it's not a flaw—would be to include a small bedside table under the shelves beside the bed in the elegant, designer furnishings, without compromising on style and beauty. One last treat: in the property's spacious park, lined with centuries-old trees, fireflies are visible at this time of year. Those who have never seen them can only imagine their beauty; those who have had the good fortune to encounter them in the wild will be able to enjoy them even more.
