In Villa In Fontanellato

In the heart of the historic village of Fontanellato, the villa restaurant will welcome you with kindness. It's actually a villa, and from the small square with its San Pietrini, you enter the bar area. It has two floors and an incredible, well-kept garden with a small castle 🏰. In one of the rooms, we enjoyed a three-course set menu: A very delicate and delicious puff pastry with mushrooms, a couple of tortelli (pumpkin, ricotta, and spinach), and finally, a berry culis and gelato. Franciacorta and Lambrusco wines. Excellent value. The restaurant is good and, with a few small adjustments, could become excellent. Parking is a downside, as the famous market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

A truly top-notch restaurant in every way. The location is welcoming and elegant. The service was impeccable, with glasses changing as the wine bottle changed, elegant tablecloths, and a round of artisanal bread. The dishes were tasty, beautifully presented, and well-prepared. Even the desserts were a true delight for the palate and the eye. Reasonable prices considering all of this.

We chose In Villa for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We're so happy it was recommended to us! The location is beautiful, with elegant interior rooms and large, dramatic windows overlooking the park. The park is simply marvelous: spacious and well-kept, it's the perfect backdrop for a reception. But there's more: what really made the difference for us was Elisabetta and Alessandro's availability, professionalism, and kindness. The service, food, and organization of the entire day were impeccable, and we received countless compliments from our guests. We highly recommend it both as a restaurant and as an event venue!

The hotel seems a bit neglected and the rooms should be renovated.

To be praised. We were hosted in the In Villa structure since our original choice but of the same ownership - the Tre Pozzi hotel restaurant - was without air conditioning due to a fault. This solution was offered to us in a noble manner and at the same price, which turned out to be a lucky one. A very luxurious and welcoming room/mini-suite, perfect central air conditioning and always active at the right temperature, excellent reception/connection wi-fi, large bathroom, very comfortable mattresses, breakfast of buffet products (corn flakes, juices, Rigoni Asiago jams among all), plus freshly baked pastries, eggs and an excellent local raw ham. Peace and quiet are guaranteed. The location, very central opposite the Rocca di Fontanellato. The owner, Mrs Elisabetta, is efficient, very kind and of great availability and elegance. The restaurant service only on weekends is currently guaranteed through the catering of the other Tre Pozzi structure. Only suggestion - it is not a flaw ... - in the elegant and designer furniture of the room it would be useful to include a small bedside table under the shelves next to the bed, without distorting style and beauty. Last joy: in the park inside the structure, large and with centuries-old trees, in this season the fireflies are visible: those who have never seen them can only imagine their beauty, those who have had the fortune of meeting them in nature will be able to enjoy them even more.
